I don't see why Adult swim would give up on this show so early. Great shows like Seinfeld and Cheers never started out with massive ratings and both took a season or too to find their voice and to start cranking out great things.
And so many shows that [as] put back into the mainstream were shows that only one season but were given up on by mainstream channels. Mission hills, Oblongs, Home Movies. And lets not forget what they've done with futurama and family guy.
Turner Broadcasting must have see something in Neely since he was the poster child for their site super deluxe. Even though that might have failed, he keep it afloat a lot long than it would have been. They need to just trust in the artist and let them keep going so they can do great things, and hopefully make them money.
Though if it is expensive to produce, just cut the animation budget. Neely was doing fine with the fewer panels with no fluid animation. Think of how much time and work you can save on cutting out all that lip syncing, and creepy pupils movement that every one has now. I still can't get over why they added them. o__o
All and all, to sum it up. Don't cancel the show ya jerks. Or i'll be sad.
