Anyway, they accidentally aired the most recent episode wholly uncensored. And now the show is in reruns. Normally a show being in reruns after 6 episodes wouldn't be that big of a deal, but only if the ending episode is something you know for certain was the definite intended season ending, like with Mongo Alliance. How many episodes were in its first "season"?

But thing about this is, slipups like this usually invoke the ire of the higher ups in charge of S&P. I heard Crofford and/or Lazzo had words or something for this.

Has there ever been a time where Brad Neely didn't push the envelope with Adult Swim?

I'm just now getting word that Episode 6 was definitely the intended last episode before the remaining 4 were to air. So these reruns aren't a cover act or reparations. Not originally, anyway.

But does anyone know what the word is on this? I heard corrective action was to be taken. What does "corrective action" mean?

Not discontinued/cancelled.

It's on a planned hiatus for the holidays. The next new episode will air Sunday January 1st.

Until then, they are re-airing the first 6 episodes.

No one can give us a clear answer on how/why the last episode ran uncensored to some people.

I'm aware that it's in reruns, my assumption was that it was in reruns by a spur of the moment decision, as last minute schedule changes are wont to be.

Anyway, I had always assumed that Master Control was their tape tech guys, not anyone too tightly tied to S&P, so Master Control explaining that they did in fact air it doesn't explain whether they had the go ahead to do so.

I'm also not sure whether or not it was intentional, everyone at Williams Street likes to be so facetious, you never know when to take them seriously. I guess when Episode 6 airs again we'll know.

You're missing the point. See, I'm saying "Hey, was this a schedule change? Do you think that means action was taken in regard to Episode 6?" I'm asking about the change, and leading it into a speculation on action taken, considering that's what I heard from the Innernette blogosphere and whatnot.

Then let me show you how ignorant the blogosphere is and how much you should use your own abilities to find things out, such as the tv schedule [as] is constantly hosting on its website... there's even a link for it... like this one... and it tells you things like when certain episodes are or aren't going to air. (Hint: Yellow means new).

And before you say 'I knew about the schedule hurp durp I meant impromptu change'... it tells you when the last edit/revision was.

The Innernette blogosphere didn't say the reruns were directly related, I still had reason to speculate.

Time is relative. Yes, Central is an hour "behind" Eastern, but when something airs at 10/9 that means Eastern Time zoners need to tune in at 10, Central Time zoners at 9... because it is the same time just different zones...

I, personally, haven't heard of any action being taken against the show for airing uncensored. It's not really their fault if it wasn't done intentionally. Ultimately, the network would have to take responsibility for that I think. 

All I know is that [as] planned to air the first 6 episodes again before continuing to air the rest of the season.

That's the thing, this is cable, so how would they take responsibility? The network can only be in trouble with its own S&P board, and maybe viewers if they mass cancel their cable subscriptions or stop watching the show or something.

Probably the only thing that gets the attention of a network is if advertisers threaten to pull out.

And that usually only happens if enough people complain and they fear a backlash.
