Somehow I didn't catch the other f-bombs, just Prof. Cakes' "Don't fuuuuuudge your sister." I know **beast** has been on cable plenty of times(South Park comes to mind first) and I wouldn't be surprised about a**hole(I really only notice it when it's censored). There's really three things to remember: If you're paying for cable, you're effectively inviting them into your home compared to network television which is just floating around in the public airwaves; After 10pm is considered "safe harbor" and shows can get away with more than they normally would; Most importantly however, none of these are hard and fast rules. The FCC can't monitor and enforce everything all the time. They are a completely reactionary agency and will only really act on prominent broadcasts that draw a lot of viewers and therefore a lot of response to anything controversial.
I am reminded of an episode of The Daily Show from a month or two ago where Jason Jones' scrotum was shown briefly as he was having a vascectomy. It was a "did I really just see that?" sort of surreal moment. I guess there's some exception for scenes of real-life surgeries which may have scientific or educational value.
Basically, FCC standards are anything but standard. There's just no practical way to enforce them much less decide on what's right and wrong.
EDIT: lol, at AD's autocensor. I didn't write "fuuuuuuudge."
