I know, I was surprised as well when I found out they were taking a break so soon. The first season will only have 10 episodes total, so 4 when they come back in the new year. 

Hopefully, the reception has been good enough to at least guarantee a second season (of hopefully, more than 10 eps ).

There's only 10 episodes this season? That blows. I don't think I knew that.

It's not uncommon to see these kinds of breaks, especially on Adult Swim. Production gets behind, or something like that. The cartoon biz must be rough.

I think they're scarred of competing with "holiday cheer" (whatever that is).
