I think the thing I hate most about Code Geass is C.C. It's a kind of hatred that, I'm afraid to say, has evolved into something that I enjoy feeling. Sure, I hate everything about her and wish she was different, but as long as she's this way, she's a problem. And I like crushing problems.

If I had to equate it to something, I would equate it to the hatred that The Monarch feels for Dr. Venture. To take a page from him, I just want to kick her ass. I want to build a MACHINE to kick her ass. I want to build an EMPIRE to house the machine, to kick her ass!!!

I think the fact that u havea hate for her so strong shows that her character is developed so highly that people can have multiply thoughts on her. Kinds seems like a mark ofa great Anime to me

I know what a well developed character is. Any reason I could hate C.C. has nothing to do with how "well" she's developed. I hate her for her hypocrisy, and how that hypocrisy is ignored. When it results in the living hell that people like Mao go through, it should never be ignored.

Do you call that "development"? Because I call it cliffhanging. Or someone who is just really really bad. So why does Ledouche care about her?

Have you thought about how heartless she is, and how pointless it was for her to be so, and how unexplainable it was for her to be so, and how CONTRADICTORY it was for her to be so?

Not to mention, she jumps from worthless, lifeless lump to all of a sudden wanting to swing from Ledouche's flesh balloon like a horny monkey. And we're supposed to just forget about how useless she was? Forget about her being a monster, she was just good for NOTHING!

It's not about "forgetting how to be human", what she did was specific. She acted on things with premeditation. Even further, there was no point to it. If she was just selfish and couldn't comprehend how Mao felt, then that would open up to her possibly trampling him to achieve some end. But she would have gotten everything she wanted out of the contract even without leading him on. In fact, leading him on HURT her chances of fulfilling the contract. So if she didn't mean to hurt Mao, why did she do what she did?

Also, how is she somehow "reminded" of what it is to be human, when Ledouche didn't do anything differently from what Mao did?

Hey animesuperfan12, if I were you I really wouldn't argue with this guy. Obviously nothing anybody says will change his mind.  Right now all you're really doing is fanning the flame and it won't end well.  My suggestion is that none of us even bother to post on this thread anymore and just ignore him.  That way he'll really only be ranting to himself, and we won't have to worry about his ridiculous arguments as to why he thinks the show is bad.

This thread shouldn't even exist!  I wanted to be quiet about this, but this place should be for people who love code geass, not for those who hate it.  Stuff like this creates a bad atmosphere.
