Sorry for the necro-bump, but I'm somewhat sad to see that an R3 TV
season wasn't happening.  I really should know better by now, but I was
hopeing that R3 would fix everything.  At the very least, I wanted to
set fire to another season.

As a side note, Transformers 2 was okay.  Code Geass sucked.  By the way, I'm thinking about doing a multi-part review of the series as a whole.  However, if it does show up, it may not be for a few months... or a few days, I don't really know.  Part 1 would be a light review called Expectations and Presentation.

I also am necromancy-bumping this old thread as a grand finale of sorts because I just found out that [as] lost the rights to Code Quack. I'm almost three months late on this news.

Guess it's time to move on to whatever the other side may be. EVentually this board will be gone, I'm just here to pick up all of the bar furniture and get it over to my apartment in time for a somber dimming of the lights. The two new hot topics nowadays are Brotherhood and Kekkaishi, so I guess everyone will be going there.

So does this mean we're finally going to get the final episode review?  Dude, you have to!  It's the worst episode of them ALL!  It cemented my hatred for this series!

Yeah, the board will be gone eventually, but Humbug is being nice and trying to leave the folders and icons up for as long as he can to shows [as] has lost the rights to.  But, a folder is no big deal.  I can ignore a folder.  What I'm really waiting for is the Code Geass icons to be deleted.  They make me see red (no Geass pun intended).

Sadly though, CG-themed screen names will remain... *sigh*

No it isn't.  They wrote this show to speak their political beliefs.  And those beliefs are that the majority of Japanese despise America and all that she stands for.  Even more than Western Europe hates us, the Japanese HATE US EVEN MORE!  THEY HATE ME TOO!  BECAUSE I LOVE FREEDOM!  THEY HATE ME PERSONALLY.

Any particular reason you decided to bump this after 6 months or are you just trying to troll me? Because when I saw that this thread actually had new replies, I thought for a second that Kaljinyu had finally gotten around to watching the final episode and had posted his review. Don't get my hopes up like that again!

Me too. That final 3-4 page essay would cap the whole thread with a feeling of 'completion'. Unless Kaljinyu's head actually asploded from the viewing in which case it being incomplete would be excused.

Either way, this whole incident is going to be in a 'vents' comic if the IB TImes ever starts back up. It was inked months and months ago.

I believe that Mr Kal had happy font for the Britianian Policy Princess Miss Lohmar [sorry, I don't think I spelled that right - can't spell tonight -.-; ].

But all told, I think this thread is the perfect example of how someone who seemingly can't stand a show is still able to be a welcome contributor to the board. He at least watched the show [except for the final episode which I'm still calling him out on ] and kept his vinegar in a single thread that people were able to read or not instead of constantly barraging every possible thread with negativity. I personally would have preferred less filter dodging but meh.
