Which is the exact reason why all these companies are laying people off or going under.  People who are too cheap to support the industry and think they have the right to steal and pirate anime shows. Fansubs and illegal internet streams are killing the industry here in America.

And that doesn't help those of us who prefer dubs.

subs are better anyway

they make the series more watchable

Well, you see that's an opinion.  I feel it makes a series less watchable since you are forced to spend all your time reading the subtitles.  And since anime is a visual artform, it isn't meant to be read.

and see you already have alot of series that are being released based on Fans liking certain ones for example Blue exorcist is being released Sub only that was because of what the fans truly wanted

if they made it a visual artform why include the Japanese audio? to give the buyer the opinion of whether they like the sub or dub

It's what some fans wanted.  Or at least the ones that whined enough.  Why release a sub only?  What pain is it causing you to give people the option?  Well, if a person fully understands Japanese, then they get to enjoy the show in a way that a subber can't.  You don't have get all defensive about subs.  There are a couple of shows where I prefer subs, and a bunch where I prefer dubs.  But you can't deny that during a subbed show, you spend a lot of time reading the bottom of the screen and not getting to fully enjoy what's going on above the words.

I'm just saying that a person going through illegal streams and fansubs is basically helping to kill the industry here in America and selfishly taking that option to choose an audio preference away from other people.

I don't watch shows online.  I hate it.  Crappy quality all around.  I always get official releases.

I'll have to agree about online viewing being inferior (as compared to watching it on your TV and whatnot).

Visual quality is tends to be not as good, for one thing.  Also when it comes to TV broadcasts or DVDs, everyone's pretty much getting a uniform viewing experience.  When it comes to streaming or torrents on the other hand, it all depends on the person's computer, so it can make you feel a lot more restricted or left out if you don't have your own computer, have a slow connection, or other things like that.

I will watch stuff online if they are not available any other way, however if a show is available in other forms, it's certainly not my first preference.

That's basically what I do.  If there's a series that peaks my interest and it is not yet available in America, I will watch it on a (if available) legal stream.  If there is no legal version, I'll go to fansubs, but only until it gets an official release in America.  Then I buy it and support the publishers and whatnot.
