Cowboy Bebop

 Alright, it seems like we have a new banner art system in place, so here are the revised

guidelines. Please read carefully.

 Revised Guidelines For Bebop Banner Art Submissions

1. The Banners should be about Cowboy Bebop. (Duh)

2. The Banners should be no larger than 900 pixels wide by 450 pixels high, and no bigger than 250kb.

3. No naughty stuff.

4. No spoiler scenes, such as character deaths.

5. The banners will be changed out every other week, from the banners submitted here.

6. No more than one banner submission per person per month please.

7. The banners will be changed when time permits, so please don't freak out if it is a day or two late.

Helpers are volunteers, they don't get paid to do these cool things for us. We should keep that in mind.

8. Please use official artwork or screen shots from the series. You can tinker with the images, but the originals

should be from the series or officially released artwork.

  These guidelines are subject to revision. If you have any questions, please ask in here,

and someone will answer them. Please keep the drama to a minimum.

  Don't forget to thank Viperxmns for doing this. He deserves a big hand for stepping up

and taking this on.

I agree with this idea. Every other folder has a banner of some sort except this one. I think it's a great injustice that Bebop does not have one.

I'll mess around with somethings tomorrow to see I can make a good one.

this kind of thing.

Here is my first banner...I just followed the FMA banner format so I hope all is well. The scan came from the artbook so all official art. ^_^

I might make another one just because I'm bored.

Thanks!! And I just realized that the title in the middle was cropped wrong so I had to fix it.

And I made another one...this one is more funny-ish. Again, came from the artbook. I can't remember which one. I know that there are a couple out there.

 Well, the reason why I suggested that people use screen caps is that we know screen caps

are perfectly fine to use, since they can be used for custom icons. Most of the suggestions

I listed are based more on the custom Icon rules so that the pics that get listed here have

a much better chance of being alright to use.

 Of course, the worst that could happen is that Humbug says "Sorry guys we can't use wallpapers.",

so I say go ahead shrink them down to a reasonable size and post em.

those are both excellent. can't decide which i like best, either. the crew being pressed up against the glass does kinda rule. i'd hate to have to pick, though...

Wow, I'm glad everyone likes them. I've just noticed that the code geass folder has a rotating banner...so instead of choosing they could go up in a rotation...that would be pretty sweet. Not saying that it has to be my banners but whatever the admin/mod/helper decides. Just an idea anyway...

So I decided to make another one...I like it but I like the first two I made better...This one might be a work in progress but I can't think what else to fix. All the images came from the opening...even the wording in the background. 

And I hope someone else is going to make some I don't want to be the only one here.

 I made a second one earlier today.

I'm not sure how they did that rotating banner pic in the Geass Folder, but I

don't think it would be that hard to just change the banner once every two weeks or

so.

Crushrose : WinDVD player has a little camera icon on it that you can use, I'm not sure

about any other programs though. It isn't that big a deal, if you happen to see a cool Bebop pic

then just go ahead and link it here, and I'm sure someone can work out the technical details.

This goes for everyone, if you see a cool pic just link it. Try to remember that it is going to be

smaller though, so really intricate details might not be lost.

So many good banner ideas.  We may have to use the rotate code like they do in the Geass folder.

I know from other folders that fan art generally isn't a problem for the banners, unlike avatars. Dunno if the rules might be different for anime.

 If fan art is allowed for banners in other folders then it should be fine here.

 The only official type rules I've seen are the custom Icon ones, so that is what I tended

to err on the side of. I figure if it would pass for a custom Icon, then it should be no problem

as a banner pic.
