Hm, that wasn't the first contest with clues, I do remember the combined clue contest that we had planned a year before there, that was an interesting turn out that her and I had. Though I did notice the second time around wasn't as strong an outcome as the original.

Sure we can rally enough people to even both with it?

Yeah, only Halfdemon and I participated, and both of us ended up winning, since we tied. That was nice though.

Hmm... Not sure... I still have a lot to learn about the boards, like who hangs out where and what shows they like. I know that there are plenty of fans of CB to give us a good contest, but how many would actually want to come and give it a shot, I'm honestly not sure. But since it's a contest, with the potential incentive of a prize, I guess it could be slightly intriguing.

Prize is an issue, for a prize I have to contact Humbug, which he doesn't come around much so I'm not certain I can get a confirmation from him before Christmas.

Also, most of the contests I've done were for prizes, I was hoping to just do this for the fun of it and give something to do, prizes just seem to make things worse, at least in my eyes, especially around the holidays.

And you're right. We don't really need people getting really competitve around the holidays of all times...

And yeah, plus not everything can be for a prize, there has to be some just for fun, I realize most just do the contest for the prize, but meh, I'm hoping that people haven't forgotten about the way it used to be when things were just for fun and not for a rank or something like that.

True... Kinda makes you think of the real world where everyone feels like they have to get some sort of material gain just to do something, even if it's what they love, doesn't it?
