Just wanted to mention one little, neat fact about Ein.  His design came from the lead character design artists friends dog.  So who knows, maybe if his friend owned a german shepard Ein wouldn't look the way he does now, haha.

Didn't know that. Thanks for the tidbit...

The first episode was awesome, and I was really excited about seeing the next one.

Unfortunately, my sister is evil. She decided to watch some stand up comedian who we've both seen before several times instead. :smileysad:

I'd like to thank everyone who participated and voted for an awesome competition.

Same. Also, I've quite forgotten just how doggone cute Ein is. One of the staff members who used to work at my school had a welsh corgy, so I'd often see a little real-life Ein running around. :smileyvery-happy:

Well like I said yesterday pretty good epsiode.

It was hilarious. :smileyvery-happy: The guy who just kept saying "Seems that way" was hilarious. :smileyvery-happy:

The chase scene was awesome.

Also I noticed that Jet had like a wooden arm but on the first episode it was metal what's up with that?

Also my dog actually loks like Ein I don't know what type of dog it is but it's looks like it.

Ok I was confused as crap because this episode it looked wood but 1st episode looked metal.

I figured it was just another arm he uses when he doesn't work I guess.

Thanks to Bebop, I think I want a Welsh Corgi for a pet one day :smileyhappy:.  Yeah, this is probably the funniest episode from the early part of the series, even though I can't help but feel bad for little Ein at parts.  Honestly, who stuffs a dog into a briefcase?

That stinks to hear that you can't do caps anymore.
So without going with no caps from the episode, I made some of just Ein, which is also one of my favorites.

Interesting little obscure fact for Faye.  Originally her jacket was drawn as a metalic black color not yellow.  Also at first she was drawn in one of those sexy chinese dresses b/c the character design artist thought she might be wearing one b/c she is of Chinese decent.

Now that the episode is over.  My anime cel is the scene where Spike is in a fight with the casino guards and it's the moment that he's dodging a punch.

Indeed, an impressive piece of anime swag.

Jet cracks me up when he lectures Spike about not winning too much.

Same here.  Ever since I first started watching Bebop I've wanted a Welsh Corgi.

Cowboy Bebop Episode 2: Stray Dog Strut

Music:

Fun Facts:
  • The title is a reference to "Stray Cat Strut" by the Stray Cats.
  • This episode is a comedic tribute to the Bruce Lee film "Game of Death", in which Bruce has a fight scene with Karim Abdul Jabar, who plays the villain. Jabar's character's name in the film is "Hakim" (thus the name "Abdul Hakim"). Also, lots of Bruce Lee scattered about the episode - a Bruce Lee poster on a building, the "Way of the Dragon" model nunchucks, etc. Not to mention the obviously Hong Kong influenced setting.
  • The two main characters on the TV show "Big Shot" are named "Punch" and "Judy." "Punch and Judy" is the name of an age-old puppet show originating in Britain.
  • Spike uses the line "A fist full of Wulongs" a reference to Clint Eastwood's film "A Fist Full of Dollars"
Screencaps:
*waiting on Wyo but appreciate the help*

i'm sorry trunks, i was unable to do the screencaps.

my VLC media player is freaking out on me i have no idea whats wrong with that.
I apologize for things I've done in the past. But, I cannot go back and fix them. I know that some of you hate me, I'm sorry. I had no intention to hurt anyone's feelings or anything like that. I just don't think before I type sometimes. In any case, that's why I haven't been here for awhile. I'm sorry.
