I don't know if any of you have read the IB Chronicles (they're in my sig)
I started a few years ago and have been inactive in writing them for quite a while.
The biggest reason I stopped is probably that it is time consuming and I lost my editor... (he is abroad and can't be online much anymore)
I was wondering if anyone would want to work with me this summer if I started back up...?
honestly its a bit of work with little reward..... but I find the bonding experience overall enjoyable..XD
so if you're bored and want something to do this summer.. >_> . lulz
also I'm a pretty good editor myself, so if you're a writer I would definitely return the favor if you ever needed help with anything of your own!
I value and neeeed constructive editing... usually the chapters I write are too lengthy, so I generally need help deciding on what should be cut out.
also, after reading it over and over during editing it myself, I fill in blanks in my head and don't notice simple mistakes, like missing words in sentences, grammar mistake, or bad phrasing, just some little details I miss.
Also I'm open to ideas that add comedy, sometimes I write a chapter and it is very serious.. and needs to be lightened up a bit.
and whatever other things you notice that could change it for the better basically.
so lol, I'm prepared to not find anyone willing to put in the time and effort ![]()
buuuuuuut, I could get lucky. so Im trying anyways.
If you are at all interested, and have confidence in your abilities, please let me know!
I'll have the most free time to discuss things in the afternoons. Ill probably produce a new chapter once every 2 weeks or so.
Then I'd email you the story and wait for a copy with technical errors fixed.
aaaaaand then I'd like to talk to you about what to cut, how you felt about the chapter, anything you think could be improved or changed for the better, ect. >_<
If you're interested and we agree to give it a try you'd need to read the chronicles first,
I want the entire story to have the same kinda feel. Once you read it, you'll know that feel. <_<
And to be able to talk about the story with me, you'll need to know what has already happened.
Also I'll fill you in on things that haven't happened yet too, so you can help me with foreshadowing... ect.
P.S..
for any of you that don't know about the ASMB writing comp that is going on this summer, please check it out!

I read the first 5 chapters and I rather enjoyed them
From what I saw, you're looking more for story consistency than anything grammer related, i.e. caps. and stuff. I should be able to do that if you're planning on keeping the chapters about the same length as those posted.
Edit: Just finished reading the last chapter (there's only 12 right?) I loved it. That poem ![]()

I did. I love how the characters just seem to bump into each other.
I actually didn't notice the speech patterns, but I was reading rather fast. I plan on rereading them again soon and paying closer attention to those details.
yim? aim? I actually haven't ever needed to use either of those
My email's at yahoo though so it shouldn't be hard to get yim. I just need to figure out how it works. Let me know how you want to work it. I'm looking forward to how the story continues ![]()
