La Valse des Rêves

This thread will be used for discussion/updates/whining/whatever

pertaining to my webcomic, La Valse des Reves (Which still might be getting renamed)

Brief Summary:

Chris Fredricks is a 25 year old clerk at a convenience store. An unremarkable man in near every aspect,

he muddles through his days with little ambition for tomorrow until a bizarre reoccurring dream and the warning of a stranger change everything.

Character submissions are still technically open,

so if you have a character idea, PM me with it first and post it here if I give you the OK.

Updates are posted here at random intervals:

The link picture is sorta temporary anyway,

I'd like to have the central cast in there once I have time to make a nice picture of them.

For now the plan is to have all the pages coloured, but that could change at any time.

(Also, I really haven't decided much for Travis' role, but I'll try to give him proper attention. )

anyways i read page 2 (i keep wanting to say ch. 2 lol) awww poor chris! i bet shes gonna wanna dump him when hes like gonna propse gah that betch! hes cute and seems nice should stick with him! >_<

i shouldnt call her a betch i shouldnt judge ppl by 2 pages but uh yeah! it looks great, and its easy to read and i look forward to more! ^_^ and thats good you made a new thread itll be easier for me to keep track of when you put up like new pages and stuff. at least with this if i fall behind its alright cuz its a comic and shorter dialog and would be easy to catch up on since its like page by page.

naaah i think another thread is fine!~ most ppl have sept threads for the actual story and char. submitions anyways

so it makes sense to make a thread for your story and have that one as your planning/char. thread type thing!

i think thisll help ppl who dunno you started it yet know that you did and stuff. i mean if i wasnt wierd and checked that thread periodically i prolly wouldnt of known you started on it.

i love the link picture. in particular the person on the far left. i like the expression, their eyes, even what little hair i can see around their face. if i were doing a random seach for stuff to use for display/profile pics it's definitely one i would save. dunno, it just grabs me. like "look at me look at me" lol

btw, i was trying to figure out who that character was by looking through the list of bios and sketches and found that both Alice and Leah's sketch links connect to a drawning of Alice.

I loved how they order something that contained whatever meant they wanted. Hopefully this will lessen the chances of accidently ordering something with snails

i find the temp link picture quite agreeable - although i may be slightly biased since Penny made it in, heh

(i'm sure when you make the new one that it'll look great too though)

I've read the first three pages and they're great! But I think I'll take a bit of like... a two week break right now from reading so I can just read like... 10 pages continuously and then the story will flow a little better for me. It's nothing you're doing wrong, I'm just a Harry Potter kind of reader and I usually can't stop reading once I get into something, hence why I'd like a few pages to read at once.
