Nice comparison. Lily doesn't look MUCH different, but Dan and Chris definitely do. I find it interesting how initially, Chris looked kind of like a cross between Firo and Natsume (which reminds me, if this were an anime, I'd recommend Brains Base as the animation studio).
With KIGUMA, I'm currently working on chapter 10 (and waiting for what Boxers has/will have in mind for Cujo's tattoos and pendant). The three most recent chapters are IMO very well-written (even with the remnants of the script format still mixed in). Episode 8 is my personal fave. I can't wait to read your thoughts, your spaz reviews are always fun to read.
And true, I really do put a lot of work into voice actor lists for fictional works, as well as my personal picks for undubbed shows (like Mawaru Penguindrum; right near the end of a thread on Mania's anime message board called "Choose Your Own Anime Dub Cast" or something, I posted choices for if it was dubbed in LA). I almost considered putting down Liam O'Brien for Chris but opted out since A) I don't think Liam fits Chris when Chris is yelling and B) since Dan was voiced by Blum, I chose Ethan for Chris so the two could be like an American VA shout out to Johnny and Cujo. I also opted putting down Crispin for Bernard, but Bernard seemed a bit too weary in tone for Crispin, so I chose Dave Mallow (an underrated VA) instead

I love Dan in the cover page, and Dan standing outside, and Dan leaning casually against the railing, and Dan giving last, loving parting words. Did I mention I love Dan
I really like the coloring in Dan's panel and how it contrasts with the brightly lit room Chris and Lily are in. It gives the right touch to time of day/night. Hey, I forgot about the dog too.
Looking forward to where this new chapter leads us.
