Also, I've been wondering what does "La Valse des Rêves" mean, anyway?

At first, I thought "Rêves" meant "kings" (because it looked a lot like "reyes" which is Spanish for "kings") but then I cheated and looked it up, and it means dreams. At least, I hope that's what I means, otherwise the inspiration for the song I wrote Hikky is completely off base.

Edit: I got really excited about Rêves and forgot to say that "Valse" means "waltz." This I am sure of. My music history teacher would not forgive me if I was uncertain.

La Valse des Reves means "The Waltz of Dreams".

It's French.

I have decided that the title will be changing to "Lucid" as soon as I get unlazy enough to make a new banner for it.

There's a good chance the original title will be mentioned later on still.

The main reason I'm changing the title is because Lucid still fits the theme of the comic and is easier to remember/shorter/and actually in English.

I vote for the original... it's longer, it's foreign and I think it's more abstract... all pluses in my book.

You could make La Valse des Rêves the subtitle to Lucid? Or that might be a mouthful. It's your comic. You're the one who's laboring so hard on this ("that's what she said"), so I wouldn't be offended (OMG YES I WOULD I HATE YOU) if you changed the title. haha

By the way, my theory about the emu-lion-Chris manage a trois was just to be silly... hehe... I just wanted to work an Office quote into my senselessness. But thank you for appreciating my craziness. >_>

Chris...I'm worried about you. Have you showered, shaved , eaten, moved from that couch at all in the last week? By the looks of it...I'm thinking no. It's amazing...Brooke wasn't even in this page...and my hatrad still increased. I mean look at what she did to poor Chris.

I like Chris's friend. Hope he has a key, or he's gong to have to break the door down. I don't think Chris is moving from that couch.

I'm trying to get the first chapter over with as fast as possible so I can get to the meat of the story... or at least the tip of it.

Technically this stuff is all part of what I would consider the prologue.

I'm kind of glad I read a bunch of pages in a row, it had
a much better flow to it.
Brooke is seriously a betch. I mean, really, is it that hard to just
break up with someone instead of cheat.

Dear God...six months. Now I don't know what to think. Was Brooke trying to let him done gently...and he just wasn't getting it? Dan makes that possiblity reasonable...since he's apparently been trying to tell him. But still...six months is a long time...she just should have ended it before it got to the ring part.

And the reasoning behind.... well, everything Brooke did/does will be explained in the future is all I can say.

In other news, the time I spent totally not working on a page was put into making the >new banner/site layout modifications (which are going to increase more as time goes on)

This banner actually includes more of the "heros" of the story, though they don't make up the entire "main" cast. (And I'm missing some of these main heros anyway... and Brooke.)

As I mentioned before story arcs will focus around certain characters but those four will be in each one... after they're all introduced, of course. So don't worry if your character isn't one of the two user-created characters in that banner.

Oh! And the comic has a logo now!
