this is a story that im making up as i go along i didn't know where to post it so i just decided to post it here enjoy

Prologue
The sky was blue. All was peaceful. Winery had just put Abby to bed. She made her way to the front porch and stared at the small town she lived in, it was quaint like the kind of town you just pass by and forget a minute later. Winery’s husband Eric was the chief of police but before he met her he was a soldier for one of the corporations in one of the floating cities.
The only problem was that Eric didn’t want to live there anymore. So they moved to this place in the middle of nowhere. A month after they had settled in winery told Eric the good news she was pregnant. Nine months later Abby was born, she was only two months old. Life was good.
As Eric was coming home he thought he had heard something like a blast in the distance probably just amous and moses drinking and lighting dynamite he thought to himself although they had been getting reports of pirates becoming more and more active lately. He decided to have a closer look. Eric climbed the old watchtower and took out his binoculars. What he saw terrified and energized him… pirates at least a dozen maybe more and armed with large mechs were heading toward the town. His thoughts suddenly turned to his wife and daughter he had to get to them and fast.
Later that night
Yoruichi was bored. She had nothing to do in the garage but tune her mech and even then she grew tired of that. She was only 22 and is described as a slender and dark-skinned woman of average height with golden-colored eyes and long purple hair, which she keeps up in a ponytail. Yoruichi’s mech was purple and yellow with a beam sword on the right wrist and a blue sky arms-23 smg on the left wrist.
All was quiet she went to sleep in the room next to the garage. Suddenly she awoke. A loud explosion had hit not too far away. Pirates again she thought as she was getting ready to climb into her mech. After quick systems check she was ready to take the fight to them. When she got to the scene things were already bad, most of the town was demolished it looked like no one had survived. She took up a position on a nearby hill and scanned her opponents with a hunter Tec optics system they were armed with hellgate arms 45 assault rifles. Bud the lead pirate was a sadistic crewel man not caring about anything but the thrill of taking lives. Yoruichi saw him trying to step on something. It was a woman she was begging not to be killed ’please I have a daughter’ she screamed but they ignored her and killed her anyway. This made yoruichi mad. She attacked from above killing one of the pirates with a blast from her smg. The next one was unlucky enough to take the full force of her sword to the fuel cylinder. She took out most of them one by one. The only light in the town came from the mechs that were all desperately trying to evade her quick attacks one of the pirates tried to run away he was next ’who the hell is this woman’ he screamed as smg fire overtook his cockpit.
Bud was astonished he had never seen piloting like that since the Adonis war.
He was the only one left ’oh you’re good’ he said with a slight tremor in his voice
‘I’m gonna enjoy killing you nice and slow’ he lunged at her guns blazing
She dodged his fire and used her last few rounds to puncture his fuel tank. The explosion was so big that it could be seen more than twenty miles away.
The battle was over. All was quiet. Yoruichi got out of her mech and called out to someone anyone who was still alive but nobody answered. Then as dawn finally broke and she was about to give up she thought she heard faint crying coming from one of the piles of rubble. She raced toward it and using her mech she uncovered what looked like a bunker of some kind. The crying was coming from inside. She got out of her mech and opened the bunker. Inside was a small baby girl about two months old apparently she was the only survivor. Yoruichi picked her up gently ’so what am I going to do with you’ she said while she walked toward her mech. ‘well I guess you have no one just like me’ there was just enough room in the mech for the both of them. Yoruichi didn’t know what she was doing she could barley support herself let alone a kid.
Yoruichi couldn’t just leave her it wouldn’t be right, besides the only civilized place within 50 miles was dawnstar city and just below there was the town of Baldwin. She knew these were not the right places to just leave a kid. ‘’I guess she’s going to live with me at least until I find her a nice home but for now what am I going to call you’ she asked herself. Yoruichi looked up at the sky ‘’I know she said cheerfully why don’t I call you Miku’’. The child had just awoken she looked up at Yoruichi and cooed softly. Okay ‘Miku it is’ she said as the mech raced through the desert. Yoruichi smiled. She had a feeling that everything was going to be alright.
