Chapter 6

Little

Girl

Found

Yoruichi and ichigo had no luck finding the girl. The only thing they did find was a stuffed animal that reminded ichigo of kon. He tried to follow her spiritual energy but it was fading as if she was getting farther away. Meanwhile Chad and Uryū were having no luck searching around the high school. Rangiku and Hitsugaya were searching around Karakura Community Park. The day was cloudy but people still looked cheerful. Hitsugaya couldn’t help but think about the look in Javier’s eyes when he mentioned aizen it was the same look that momo had when she learned that aizen had used her for his own gains ‘’rangiku get over here’’ he ordered ‘’what is it Taicho’’ she asked ‘’whatever you do don’t trust this Javier person he seems like bad news’’ ‘’do I detect a hint of jealousy’’ she told him ‘’I’m just not willing to trust this guy so easily’’ ‘’I knew it’’ she said ‘’you’re jealous ’’ forget about it he growled as they walked away toward a playground. The day was getting late and he wanted to get back home before it got dark.

 Hitomi was tired. The last thing she remembered was daddy and matsumoto-mama fighting the monsters and then her uncle javi taking her away. She went to sleep and woke up in this scary place. She cried until she decided to go and find help. She wandered around the whole day until she found a place that the people called the mall. Everybody looked happy buying presents for each other. The lights were beautiful, soon she found a place where there was a great big fat man in a red suit with a beard putting kids in his lap and asking them what they wanted for Christmas. He looked like Grandpa Yamamoto. Nobody noticed the little girl wandering around by herself.  Orihime was worried. They had been searching the district for hours she was starting to think the girl was somewhere else but despite this she made a promise and intended to look for her all night if she had to. Rukia was tired the whole day they had been looking and still no leads. Their last stop was the mall. It was Christmas and things were bright. People were coming in and out of shops. Rukia and orihime spotted her in a crowd. Orihime went up to her and introduced herself hi I’m orihime she said with a smile on her lips I’m a friend of your uncle’s. Hitomi liked the woman she was kind and reminded her of matsumoto. When she saw rukia she ran into her arms almost as if she’d known her for years. Rukia kept Hitomi Company while orihime went to a pay phone to notify kisuke and Javier. It was about 10:00 kisuke was going to pick them up. As they waited outside of the mall hitomi fell asleep in orihime’s arms. To their surprise he had driven there in the van that he always had parked outside of his shop. The interior was cramped. Kisuke said that Javier would explain everything they had found out in the morning. The moon shone brightly.  The day had ended and for now things were quiet. Little did they know that while they were searching Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez was waiting.
