if you're talking about ganta, he's voiced by greg ayres. i personally think he does a good job of the timid kid voice, though its scratchy. it fits him.

i mean, at least its not Vic or JYB doing his voice. that would have failed.

I am very much referring to Ganta.

I agree with you, he does the timid voice well.  However, when he screams, whimpers, or cries, it makes me want to pluck my own eyes out to detract from the pain of having to actually hear his voice.

I prefer Greg Ayres as Youhei Sunohara and also that character and also that whole series.

I have a heart for his voice because of Youhei Sunohara- a character he played from clannad, he made me laugh a shi-t load of times.

He is much better at funny characters like Yamazaki from Welcome to the NHK, Hokuto's Lackey in Cromartie Highschool, and Kaoru from Ouran Host Club, though I can still enjoy his rendition of Ganta.

oh yes, i feel the same way too hahah. though the extremity of the annoyingness might be deliberate. 

though i very much doubt that jyb or yuri OR Vic could do a better job.

Funi has plenty of great female VAs. however, Monica Rial i think is the only one who can do this kind of voice the best .

The only reason he's getting as many roles as he is is because his brother Chris has already been working there a few years before Greg did, and the company is extremely tight-knit.  He's a DJ, so he has a lot of music and sound design background, which might as well be a requirement in order to dub act in an anime well enough!
