otherwise why bother with a show that only has 12 episodes and from what i hear has no real ending....it did horrible in japan and only managed no more than 12 episodes
animes with no real ending that never will have an ending just frustrate me....

Can't really expect them to go all out when Toonami just got revived, can you?

But they picked something most suitable for the block, which happened to be DW, which also happens to be short and cheap.
I think it's more of an experiment to see if people are actually tuning in.
And both shows have already been lacking viewers, and no one has even seen the ending yet.

If you say so.
And i just reread the OP. Its interesting that you're complaining about the DW ending when you haven't even seen it for yourself yet it seems ![]()
If you don't like it, I guess don't watch it. You can't expect [as] to acquire whatever is amazing to your standards when they are unsure of the amount of viewers they will be getting for not just anime, but for Toonami as a whole.
And if the ending is "incomplete" for you, there is a manga, so you can continue the story from there.

Ugh all you are doing is spouting off a bunch of crap. Big o did horrible in japan and got a second season here because it did so well in america, so you cant really judge an anime based on how well it did japan, considering we obviously have different tastes. The anime started with 12 episodes because they started the anime pretty early on in the mangas lifecycle. 12 episode anime are actually really common and are in no way inferior to other anime. If you dont like it then thats fine, but how about you actually watch it instead of just looking at what other people say and then coming on here with your uninformed "opinions". I have seen all of deadman wonderland and read the manga up to where it stops (since it is on hiatus atm). It is full of action and pretty entertaining. To me it just sounds like you heard some people talking trash and decided to be cool and jump on the bandwagon.

Totally fine if you don't want to run into a bad website. I've read it at a couple of places and had no problems with viruses though.
I don't know what to tell you. You won't always get what you want. I'm sure they picked these shows with those aspects in mind. Surely some people won't like it.
I agree Casshern is kind of slow, but I disagree that DW is blood and violence for the sake of blood and violence. There's surely some story to it.

i got no problem with DMWL(Seen three episodes of it so far same with casshern)it's just After Durarara i was hoping for a more fulfilling anime besides last i checked the ratings haven't been on fire so it's not like DMWL will get another season
unless somehow lots more people start tuning in and even then who knows how long it would be before it's decided that it would be a good idea
let's not forget the bogus ratings system in place....

DMWs ratings are up there with bleach, and bleach is their ratings getter, so i feel like it is a pretty good possibility. Also you cant pick up a second half of an anime when the mangaka is pregnant and the manga is unfinished atm. So of course there is no second season atm. I also dont see why people complain about where it stopped, just seems like an open ending to me. People are just overexagerating it IMO.

lol how did that ruin the ending? I didnt say anything about the ending besides the fact that it is open. (which is a well known fact) If you didnt know then i still dont see how that would ruin the ending, seeing as all you know is that it is a pretty open ending... which isnt very uncommon to begin with..if that can ruin the ending for you, than i am sorry. =/

well, when Toonami came back, Bleach was the the show with the most viewers, and Deadman Wonderland was #2, so I guess that stands for something
and also, Casshern Sins is a continuity of another show called "Casshan", and Casshern Sins has twice as many episodes as Deadman Wonderland, and since watching Casshern Sins is kinda like watching paint dry, I'm a bit surprised how it got more episodes
so it's not impossible to get more episodes, just unlikely

Yeah I'm inclined to agree that it was the only reason, but I do like how it has this cheesy popcorn-horror thriller feel to it, even if the gore isn't my thing. But I wonder HOW MUCH of a budget Williams Street has! At this point, someone can dub Medaka Box and it would be the MOST expensive show Toonami would air!

I know, I actually couldn't believe this first when I saw it. It's a good show... But it where's it gonna go with no new episodes? It's just gonna be rerunned dubs eventually.
