     You may have seen similar contests in other folders. Well, I think it's high time DN had it's own. I'll be shooting for this to be a monthly event but that will depend on how much interest you guys take in it, meaning how many entries/votes we can get. The last thing I want is to make a banner every month and win cause it's the only choice.

Now for the rules:

• Voting will be held on the last day of each month and last for 24hrs. Entries should be sumbited the last week of each month. Feel free to post banners early if you want feedback or help choosing one to submit, just make sure it's clear what your final entry will be when the time comes. 

• You are allowed one entry per month. You may re-submit entries that do not win. Anyone can enter.

• Banners cannot exceed 250kb or be larger than 900X450. Smaller than that is totally fine.

• You should feature a welcoming message on your banner. A simple "Welcome To DN" is ok but please feel free to get more creative than that so long as board guidelines are followed.

• Image Content- This is the Death Note folder so obviously your entries must feature Death Note. All board rules regarding nudity, profanity, violence, etc do apply. Basically if you could get banned for posting it, don't use it.

• Voting Format- You get three votes ordered 1, 2, 3 where 1 gets 3 points, 2 gets 2 points, 3 gets 1 point. The voting block will start at 12am Central time.

Due to the holidays and people traveling, we well begin voting for the first contest on Jan 3 instead of Dec 31.

I'd be down for it.  But don't expect no more than a couple of entries since there isn't much traffic here besides the few regulars this board gets.

You got me beat.

But you need to change the font.  I know it's after the Death Note style, but that many words takes too long to figure out and ends up diminishing the pic as a whole.  Fix that and I'd vote for it.

it's not that hard. no skils are really required, you could just cut a DN wallpaper down to size and add some text.
