It was ok...i think light losing was likely to happen anyways. Just didnt expect near to do it...Light shoulda had a safety net plan or somethin...

I liked it.... but I didn't like it. I like it as an ending to the story and the whole "good wins, evil loses" thing. I didn't like that Light was defeated by a cheap L knockoff (AKA Near). I do like how Matsuda went absolute ape-sh!t on Light. That was kinda funny (In a weird way).

Ryuk did tell him in the beginning that he was gonna write Lights name in his deathnote.

Ryuk just realized that when Light loss that the show was over and it was time to pull the plug...and he was just eating apples all this time

For me, the series ended after episode 25. Light defeated L. He Won. L challenged Light and in the end, he lost and paid for it with his life.

How do people hate the Code Geass ending?  I thought it was very well done.  At least as good as the ending for Death Note, if not better.

He's just expressing his own personal opinion, there's no need to get upset over it (no matter how wrong he is  ).  Though I must admit I don't see why he needs to drag Code Geass into the Death Note folder.  It looks to me like he's just going out of his way to insult it when there's obviously no reason to do so.

Because Code Geass' ending was very dissappointing and a slap in the face to intelligent, moral-believing, realistically-thinking viewers such as myself that Emperor Ledouche could be "Good all along"  fuuuuuudge YOU, SHOW... NO, HE WASN'T... he slaughtered and manipulated thousands for no reason other than to indulge his own arrogant ambition to remake the world. 

A world that will most likely go back to the way it was before he stuck his hand in the pot, much like the world "REALISTICALLY" did, in Death Note.

Yes, I am sad that L himself didn't win... I thought he should have... I rooted for him and the police, and other good guys of the show... but Light got his in the end and cried like the **BLEEP** he is, so it was great for me!

L only lost to Light because because he only had theories instead of solid, concrete proof. I'm not saying his theories were wrong, quite the opposite as a matter of fact, all of L's theories ideas were right on the mark. If he didn't tell Rem to write L's name in her Death Note, and he did manage to figure out that the "13 day" rule with Light's Death Note was fake, he would've figured out that Light wrote those in to fool him and L would've won.

Okay sure you can go ahead and think that but like I said....why the f*ck are you bringing it up in the Death Note folder?  You have no reason to so STFU, okay?  If you want to rant about Code Geass save it for the Code Geass folder.

I still think L beat Light in the end, even if it weren't directly. If it weren't for L, Near and Mello wouldn't have had the info they started out with in order to catch Kira. Plus, L appearing before Light as he was dying was a nice touch.
