Just finished the L: Change the World Novel

Not a bad read. A little different than the movie, but still good by its own right. It makes me want to get a copy of the movie now if nothing else.

Anime I'm watching: Eureka Seven AO, Mysterious Girlfriend X

I haven't read that.  I'm working on "Another Note" but haven't gotten too far into it.  I may give this one a try too.

I don't know, maybe it's just me (no, it's DEFINITELY me), but I can't get into the live action Death Note movies.  I love the artwork, animation and the voices of the anime.  I can't at this point get into live action.   There was a special that was aired in Japan that I don't think was released elsewhere or on DVD where the story takes place several years after the Kira case that's about Matsuda coming to terms with the death of Yagami Soichiro (or so I've heard). If it was animated I'd be all over it, but I really want to know what happened in that.

One of these days I think I'll break down and watch the live action movies that they made, but right now...

To clarify: I'm a chick, ok? And I'm a hugger. And I call people "honey." That's just how I talk (really). I live in the South (if you consider Florida to still be the "South") and it's what comes out of my mouth and hands on the keyboard.

"MATSUDA!!" Just about everybody - Death Note

Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases was a pretty good read. I was genuinely surprised by the ending. I enjoyed reading it, and hope you'll take the time to finish it.

I finished it the other day.  I HAD read a spoiler but completely forgot about that while reading it so it came as something of a surprise to me too.

Some people I've heard from who've read it thought the ending was rushed. I didn't think it was.  Very cool book.  Wish we could get more. :smileyhappy:
