But the less death notes in the world the better. As for what to do about after the memories are gone.... No death note, no memories, no G-Kira, but letting him go could be a risk as well. If he was to touch another death note would the memories come back or does it have to be the one he possessed?
It would be safer to kill me. Perhaps you'd give me the honor of putting the bullet through my head yourself.
And I think it's the original. But unlike Light, I wouldn't just become "good". I'd go back to being my normal, egotistical, murderous self.
No, it's not. Any Death Note will bring your memories back, even if your not the owner. Plus, you will keep those memories until you become the owner of that notebook and then lose it. If your never the owner, adn even if you use it, you will keep your memories no matter how much time has past.
The most notiable example in the anime is when Light gies up ownership of his notebook, borrows, Misa's, and his father becomes the owner. At this point in time, Sidoh is the Shinigami attached to the notebook...and that one mafia member is the owner...so there's no notebook at headquarters that Light has ownership of, Chief Yagami owns the second, and Misa is still the owner of the third (this means that Light wasn't the owner when he should have lost his memories for the notebook he gave up). Light remembers everything and even has his lifespan available for his dad to see.
That's why my plan woudl be to have you give up ownership of your own notebook, allow you to touch mine, and lock you away in a cell that the authorities know nothing about. You get to live with your memories, have zero ownership of a notebook, and because of my specially built cell, very little chance of escape. Killing you would ruin my fun.
Did you ever look at a picture of yourself and see a stranger in the background? Makes you wonder how many strangers have a picture of you.
