Oh, of that I have no doubt.
No offense, Meilag, but do you have any kind of sense of humor at all? Just wondering, because I am all about humor.
And yes, there ARE other means besides a death note that someone can be killed. I have the means too, but I prefer not to think about it unless I have to.
Yes, just to a lesser degree than you people. Or rather, stuff that I find humorous, other people may find repulsive, vile, evil, etc...
Though I do have normal humor too, it's hard to understand what's meant to be a joke when you're reading it on a message board. Sarcasm presents the same problem.
Yes, that's very true, hence the question.
A lot depends on how well the posters know each other too. Emoticons only go so far, you know?
OK then, yes, I have a sense of humor. But my normal personality is far too serious to allow humor to dominate my personality.
Problems also arise when people use emoticons for everything.
LOL, yes, I've been annoyed by the overuse of emoticons.
Well, I'm trying to get to know people on this particular board, and it does help to know how folks are in general and how they deal with others.
I am NOT a serious person. I am sometimes serious but not always. There are very few things that I don't find funny and with few exceptions I laugh at evrerything.
For me, I consider it cutting people slack - I joke and laugh about a lot, but others who react angrily I figure either don't recognise the humor (maybe because they don't know me) or I hit a nerve, something they take seriously. When that happens, I like being told so I don't do it again.
It's all good. For me, it's just all about communication, cutting each other slack and trying to understand the people we're communciating with and where they're coming from.
Then I'll make it simple for you. You, all of you, Lover, Lupin, Bad_Witch, everyone else, are all merely distractions to ease the boredom of a life that has become..well, that's for another time. Anyways, your arguments, ideas, ideologies, morals, etc. will never offend me or persuade me into some other way of reasoning. I merely offer my advice and/or criticism, think on your reactions, and come what may. My statements may be harsh, but that is because that is the type of person that I am. I don't know how to be anything else. But in between the veiled insults, there's usually a reason why I posted.
