The Epic Chip Eating scene...

In the Epic Chip Eating scene where Light takes a potato chip and eats it, you can see something silvery/whiteish/sparkley sort of "explode" around Light's mouth as he eats the chip. But my question is; What is that? Sweat? Spit? Pieces of the chip? What do you guys think?

I always took that as them visually pounding home the fact that something epic had happened. :smileyvery-happy:

To clarify: I'm a chick, ok? And I'm a hugger. And I call people "honey." That's just how I talk (really). I live in the South (if you consider Florida to still be the "South") and it's what comes out of my mouth and hands on the keyboard.

That's what I always thought it was.  Just a little special effect to spruce up the scene.

I always thought it was the salt flying everywhere since he epically took a bite out of it!

That's entirely possible too.  Salt spray, a visual confirmation that something Epic happened. :smileyvery-happy:

It's just something extra to show how intense the chip eating is supposed to be. Like the Delete-gasm at the end of the series.
