( I don't know how to post the " hidden spoiler " deal. So, do not read further . . . it may (?) be a spolier. )
Hi StephenHero . . . Thanks for the post. I too was not pleased about the shows not being uncensored, I expected to hear it all. Oh well.
As for the commentaries, I listened to one so far. To access it, you must choose the episode ( not hit 'play all' ) and then you get a screen with the option to hear it or not. I listened to the commentary on the first episode featuring just Jon. It was funny.
I know there is at least one more featuring Jon and John Lee. As for my overall opinion, I am happy to finally have the shows on dvd and the out-takes and deleted scenes were pretty funny. I am a big fan of Jon and many of the shows he has been invovled with, but I have to say that hearing "Jon" with out his voice altered was strange. I did like it, but I think it works better with the altered voice ( if only because that's what I have become used to for this show.

Despite being labeled with a sticker proclaiming "WARNING: UNCENSORED", the episodes themselves ARE censored (if you saw the tv broadcast, you've seen the episodes as they are on disc - now with no commercials). The special features (only on Disc 2) are uncensored, but they are also not edited (in that Jon's voice isn't modified). I can't locate the commentaries, and the only option under Set Up is to enable/disable english (only) subtitles.
3 out of 5 because fans of the series wanting to own the show will get what they paid for, but the lack of multiple (at least Spanish) languages for subtitles, the fact that [as] is still (for the most part) keeping adults from hearing "bad" words on DVDs, and the price keep me from justifiably giving the product any higher of a rating. I paid less than the price advertised here in the [as] shop at a local major retailer, and nevermind S&H, I already feel like I paid a bit too much for what I got instead of what I thought I was getting. I'm clicking I would recommend this to a friend, but only because I know people will enjoy their purchase, I just don't want them to be like me and expect a little too much or a little too literally.
