Great episode. Nice set-up. The Galze is pretty annoying, hahaha. That is good. I like it. I am pretty stoked that Yvgeny is now in the postion he is in. That should be pretty funny. I'll miss some of the old cast members, but the new ones should be fun. That is something I really like about the show, people come and go. I'm thinking that Kim may pop up in an episode at some point. I was laughing pretty hard when TB offered a hand and then the later scene when Jon wanted to use that hand.
Hahaha. This show is so great !

Hey everyone! new guy here =o)
my gf and I have been hooked on this show since I found out about it a few weeks ago, actually the day of the release of the DVD. I never even heard of the show until I saw the dvd and saw a commercial for it. We're all caught up to date with both seasons and just saw the new episode yesturday. Being new to the show we noticed that every time at the beginning of each episode they show what previously happened on the show and they would always throw something in that was never shown on the episodes. I thought that was pretty funny and guessing thats part of the comedy or are we missing something? What really confused us was with the new episode when Susan died, they said it happened previously. My gf was confused the whole show because she thinks were missing something (like webisodes or something) but I say thats just part of the joke of the show.
So whos right?

Saw in the credits that Kevin Dorff wrote the teleplay for this episode. Cool to see Mike working on Delocated again. I wish he was in front of the camera, though.
I still miss Mike.

Give me a "G," because when it came to not missing the premiere I was all Finestein about it. Too much pino grigio I guess.
Caught I think everything except the new open in the clips though. Very good episode.

Kinda dissappointing considering how much it changed between season 1 and 2. The amount this show evolved between those seasons was mindblowing. This time it didn't really feel like it was trying to do anything new. Like you said, it just hit the reset button.
Still funny, though. And I suppose that's all a comedy show really needs to be.

I think of it more like, they hit their stride and know exactly what the tone is for the show at this point. Why break what works so well?

I think I just don't like repetativeness with shows. It's like, with Aqua Teen, I enjoyed it for a while, but then every episode seemed to follow a formula and repeat the same patterns over and over. It felt like, why even bother making more episodes if they're not any different than the old episodes?
Though I guess your argument is more like, the show is working at improving on what it already is rather than trying to do different things. Which I guess is fine, just not as exciting for me personally.
(also I should mention I've still only seen this first episode. The season still has time to redeem itself for me.)

This episode was ever teensy, weensy, teeny weeny bit....underwhelming for me. Still funny, but I thought the storyline let it down a bit; but they did have a lot of set-up to do for the rest of the season.
Also my slight disappointment might come from me initially expecting Jon to actually GET a vagina. From the ads, I thought he was going to go under some crazy surgery as some weird, twisted way of mourning Susan's death. But then it was just a tatttoo, but we did get the line "dead ex wife's beav" and the "Mom's Day Out" song. Oh and Jon's striptease. Not the show's fault I was expecting something different from that.
I also found The Glaze slightly too over-the-top and we need more on TB, I reckon.
Overall, still funny, but narrative left a little to be desired
