I'm sorry, but I fail to see any real humor in this show. It has its moments (as all comedies do) but I can't get in to it.

Could be that I haven't really given this show a chance, but I just can't see this show as as hilarious as everyone makes it out to be.

Honestly, after defending this show to the death. I could list off a billion examples of why this show is funny. Here is a great article about the show, too.

But, it just might not be for you too. At least you are watching the show with an open mind instead of mindlessly bashing it like other people.

I will say this, that I have fallen in love with this show since Season 2 started. (Or maybe I have just fallen in prank with Delocated Season 2, who knows?)

Well, actually just like all the live action shows on AS, they intend to spend the first ten or twelve seasons building the characters and backstory before they try any real jokes.  Sorry for the confusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show isn't for everyone. Sometimes Jon goes too far and misses the mark, but over all I think the biggest problem would be the issue of subjectivism. I **BOO** **BOO** **BOO** hated hated hated the first season (according to wikipedia I made it to episode 5 before I gave up), but the other week I was sitting in my room doing some reading when I heard this really bad vodka pun in the background. I laughed, and over my laughter I heard Jon start saying something insulting and I found that hilarious, and decided to pay attention for the rest of the episode. Not being disappointed as ibwas with season 1, I decided to give the next week ("Fidence") a chance from start to finish: At first the episode was slow and lame, but then the plot got focussed and the cast drove through the story in quite an amusing way.

The issue clearly has to be subjectivism, because I actually had a friend come up and ask me if I watch delocated so he could tell me about the opening scene to "Fidence" and how awesome it was...

I agree, I have given this show a chance and I still find it dull and boring. I see the jokes they are making but they aren't funny, they are stupid. Why is this show still on the air?

No no, yes... it was a the last day of September in the 11th year of the 3rd millennium...

Anyway... I'm in my room and I've got the t.v. on [adult swim], and I'm doing some reading, but I'm getting tired of reading the book I have. It is at about that time "Jon" is inside of Kim's Krafts as is that model (What'sername). He starts being loud and saying something, and I'm across the room book in lap and face scrunched up- 'Well, I guess this show is still bad like it was last season... I was right.' I pick my book up, but before long, the show intrudes again... this time happening to be one of the many bad vodka puns, book back in lap- 'Hah, okay. I wasn't ready.'- "Jon" starts hecking- 'hah. fuuuuuudge this book, that's what tomorrow's for.'

And that's where babies come from.

Your name is DogMayor. That. Is. AWESOME! I like how every job Jon gets he dosn't have in the next episode. All the jobs keep the show interesting. And to the ignotant people, you don't get the humor. You don't actually process the dialogue and tone enough to see that it was supposed to be funny. Part of it is sense of humor, but a lot of it is the ability to understand it. I know I'm sounding all technical but it's the truth. I also think when people decide to sit down and watch an entire episode, they expect to see obivous jokes. This is because the way they advertise the show is showing the obivious jokes they throw in once or twice in an episode, to lure the average adult swim viewer in. When the first time watcher sees the episode, they only see those jokes (the few of them) and thinks it's boring because there isn't enough, for them.

I completely agree.  If someone doesn't get the humor of the premise they most likely won't get the humor of the show.

The absurdity of the whole show's general theme is obscure anonymous fame.  You can't get much more psychological than the angles in a show about a guy desperate for fame in the witness protection program.

It's original and well executed.

It's **grok** near Mozart, in a way.

Comedy is as valuable as it is because of drama.

South Park and Delocated are only funny because people really die in the ways they parody.

Carlos Mencia stealing jokes is like JK Rowlings claiming to have written The Illiad.

An arguement could be made that it's worse.

That is why you should appreciate this show and it's subtle humor.  lmfao
