DBZ Uncut talkback 3

A continuation of uncut talkback 2. I hope no one gets mad at me for making it, we just need a new thread to discuss the show.

:smileytongue:I had a whole post typed out, and it was locked when I hit submit. I asked the mods to leave a link to this thread in the old one, but who knows if it will happen. This folder isn't too active, I'm sure everyone who posted in the old one will find this one.

You wouldn't happen to know what the last episode they showed was would you? I can't for the life of me manage to catch it when they actually show it.

This one. If you meant the number, I don't know which one exactly.

It's nice to see Piccolo not just being a support character. Everytime he gets stronger, Goku and Vegeta pass him by a mile. Poor Piccolo.:smileysad:

Piccolo, like Tien, really got put on the back burner in DBZ. Remember when Tien not only was one of the strongest people, but he even was able to go toe to toe with Goku? Those were the days. Tien was a BAMF in DB.

yeah i really liked Tien character i just wish they would have used hes character more i think he was one of the best fighters and if he wanted to he could have gotten really strong i think. but Piccolo and Tien did get the short end of the stick

They are relatively a lot stronger when you think about it. Goku had a power level under 1000 by the time Z started, and we all know it was over 9,000 by the time he got back to Earth. At that time Guldo could beat Vegeta, and Chiaotzu was able to beat Guldo on King Kai's planet.

So from DB to the Frieza saga, even Chiaotzu exponentially increased his power level. Of course, compared to the likes of Vegeta and Goku he is still a wimp.

true...one thing i never understood is how when Vegeta fought Reccome he got demolished but when Yamacha not to long after the fight fights Recoome and beats him i never understood it i mean come one there was no way he got that strong to be stronger than Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan

That is a bit of a puzzler, but they took less time to catch Bubbles and hit Gregory then Goku did because they were stronger then he was when they got their. I think they had more time to actually train instead of just getting used to the gravity.

yeah you may be right about that but when Yamacha was brought back it didnt seem he got much stronger :smileyvery-happy:

i just found it odd how easily they defeated the Ginyu force after what just happened on Namek

well he seemed to beat Recoome easily :smileytongue: and another thing about Yamacha being dead remember that one guy who looked like a blond long haired Andriod 16 who Pikkon fought in the tournament and they were almost evenly matched how come Yamacha could beat him so easily as well.

ive come to the conclusion that Yamacha gets 100x stronger when he died :smileyvery-happy:

Oolibu? Not sure if I spelled it right. You mean the dead guy who was from Earth too right?

Well like Krillin said, they couldn't get him to train when he was alive, but once he was dead that's all he did.

After that Yamcha even says something like "if this place had girls I wouldn't even care about going back to dumb old Earth." :smileyvery-happy:
