He saw Broly transform and he literally gave up and kept saying it was pointless to fight him. After he got his butt whooped by Cell in his perfect form after he let him reach it, he just stood there while everyone attacked Cell to distract him from Gohan's attack. He says something along the lines of "It's not fear that paralyses me, he's just too strong, there's no point."

Vegeta wouldn't attack until he saw everybody else not being wuss bags. He had to see Yamcha, Tien, Piccolo, and yes ever Krillin attack when it was pointless before he got the balls to attack too. Vegeta's great, but if you hurt his pride and prove you are vastly stronger then him, he gives up most of the time. The only times he actually went all out in a hopeless fight were against Buu (multiple forms Super 17) and Omega Shenron.

Krillin on the other hand was left in the dust shortly after Z started, and despite all that he was always ready to step up and fight. He did so against Nappa and Vegeta, the Ginyu Force, Frieza, he chickened out against the Androids though, Cell (multiple forms), and the list goes on. Vegeta loves to fight when he thinks he's stronger, Krillin will fight when they need him.

GT is not the place to compare anything. If Krillin hadn't took on Super 17 (knowing he was completely out matched but he was protecting his family) and died then 18 wouldn't have been able to help Goku defeat Super 17. What did Vegeta do in GT? Oh that's right, he helped Goku. Isn't that what Krillin has always done?

Pan did more then Vegeta did.

Vegeta is nothing more then the lead supporting character, a job held by Krillin in DB. The only difference is Vegeta is a lot stronger.

Vegeta is only alive because Krillin decided to let him live. Chew on that.

Lucy's Dad's townhouse no. r u serious. it was Goku that spared vegeta, not krillen, or did u forget that goku told krillen not to do it. n last time i check krillen did not fight super 17. n dont get me started on pan

no no no. when he was fighting Super 17, he kept going at him, and the only reason why Gohan destroyed cell was becuase of VEGETA. so did give me any of that sh!t vegeta doesnt fight, n if it wasnt for Vegeta givin goku his energy he would of never defeated Broly

Are you... serious? You even said Goku told Krillin not to do it. Goku said not to, but Krillin is the one who actually decided not to. Goku was an influence, but he was not the one who did the sparing. I'd think with Krillin holding the sword to Vegeta and Goku not being able to move that would be obvious. 

I meant regular 17. If Krillin hadn't stood up to him, 18 would have joined him and then later Super 17 would have won against Goku.

Against Super 17 yeah he did, but that's GT, he did against Buu too but up until then he didn't do that. GT doesn't count. In Z, you know the one actually written by Akira the guy who created Vegeta and gave him his personality, he was way different then he was in GT. I never said he didn't fight Einstein, I said when he knew he was out matched his personality changed a lot, and that's true up until the Buu shows up. When he gets his head handed to him he gave up, he'd need something to make him fight (power boost, everybody else doing it, etc.)

And no Gohan did not defeat Cell because of Vegeat, it's Vegeta's fault Gohan was having trouble with him in the first place. Vegeta simply provided an opportunity for Gohan to make his move. Actually Krillin, Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, and Vegeta helped him so don't say Vegeta was the reason, all he did was help make up for **filter dodge** over Gohan in the first place.

Again, you say it like only Vegeta helped him which is again entirely wrong. If it wasn't for everyone else giving Goku their energy he wouldn't have "defeated" Broly. Try to remember when Broly transformed and Vegeta let him knock him around, that was Vegeta not fighting because he knew he was outclassed. I never said he didn't fight period, but Vegeta was very proud and he knew his limitations. It took him a long time, but he didn't always fight right away when he was outmatched like the others did.

Are you **filter dodge** serious? You honestly think Goku was the one who didn't kill Vegeta on Earth? He was a factor, Krillin's conscience, a **filter dodge** Jiminiy Cricket. Krillin put down the sword and let him leave, not Goku. What the **filter dodge** are you babbling about? Krillin fights all the time, he's fought in more battles through out the series then Vegeta has. I'm done talking to you about this show, you obviously don't know jack **filter dodge** about it.

No, you need to work on your reading comprehension, and character analysis. Seriously, you think Krilin is useless, Vegeta is mentally unbreakable (which is the farthest thing from the truth, infact he wouldn't have reached Super Saiyan if he was), and for some dumb reason you think the Garlic Jr. saga is just as good as any other. It is  great show, but it is not perfect. That's proven by the number of inconsitencies being more then zero. And no, not every single saga was great. The Garlic Jr. saga was God awful garbage that had no place in the show. It went off of one of the movies for crying out loud. The movies are not canon with the show so it simply has no place in the show at all, and it was nothing but filler. If you say it wasn't filler you are very ignorant about the show's history. It, as well as a few other sagas, weren't even in the manga because they were made simply so the show could air while they made the good parts of the show. That's pretty much the definition of filler, and filler is crap. You're a fanboy, fanboys ruin everything.

Chill, it's not my fault you can't look at a show and a character for what they actually are.

"OMG *insert anything* IS PERFECT! STFU!" ruins anything, and it's what you've been saying about this show. It's my favorite show ever, but I'm able to admit it has it's flaws just like everything else in the world does. We've been through this before, if you can't see the good and bad about anything your opinion has zero value to any serious discusion.

All I "**scritchy scratch**" about is people not being able to see the full picture. You see no flaws in this show, yet you think Krillin is useless. Well that right there presents a bit of a problem. Since Krillin is part of the show and the show is flawless (to you), then Krillin has to be flawless too and he most certainly has a use in the show. You can't dislike anything about the show then turn around and say it's perfect. Things just don't work that way outside of your special little head.

What got me about Krillan in GT was that he seemed to have drifted away from everyone else.  Tien and Yamcha drifted away by the end of DBZ.  But Krillan was practically family.
