Sorry Chaos, but I have to agree with swordsman on this one.  he has a good thesis and hard facts!  And Vegeta WAS crapping his pants when he saw what Brolly could do...

All the times I've seen it have been from begining to end.
Yeah I remeber that....but I personally think that its because he was afraid of his own death not Brolly himself.
I think we could go round and round with this all night and not get anywhere.

I doubt Vegeta was afraid of death itself...he's died before, so since he has experienced death previously, he would naturally not be afraid to die...

And why would that be natural? I think after dying once it would provide more reason to fear it. Being as at this point he did have a Trunks and Bulma....
But I like I said I doubt that this is really going to have either of us agreeing on it.
Cuz I honestly think that Vegeta feared death to a certain extent till the Buu saga...

Well, when people face their fears...they are naturally known to lose the fear they had for the particular thing they feared.  And even though he did have Trunks and Bulma, he didn't seem to care about them much at first.  He was hesitant to die in the Buu saga because he had become fond of them by then and did not want to leave them...But these are my opinions, of course...

I haven't seen that one...:smileysad:.  Apparently, those fools at Funimation are getting lazy and don't want to get a move on with the DBZ movies...:smileymad:.  Movie 9 was supposed to come out sometime in April, and as you can see, nothing yet...

Question: If this movie has not been dubbed yet, then how can there be a character named "Brolly", seeing as there is no 'L' sound in the Japanese language?

Well, movie 9, the one with Broly, has in fact been dubbed already.  They still use Brolly in the japanese version, though, because that is the english subtitled version, but if you listen to how they pronounce it, it sound like Brorry...

Re: What Is Your Favorite DBZ Movie?

My favorite DBZ movie so far was probably the Brolly Movie but I also liked the Return of Metal Cooler and the Bardock Movie.

I don't think Vegeta acted so out of character against Brolly either. It's just that we don't see him scared so much in the series but when he realized he wasn't a Super Saiyajin against Frieza, he got the same sort of look on his face and stopped fighting entirely. Which was exactly how he acted with Brolly.

Besides, I think they needed Vegeta to act that way in order for the audience to see and accept that Brolly was suppsed to be super strong. And its always cool to see Vegeta build himself back up so he can run to fight Brolly. Although I wish he wasn't brushed off that easily by the big baka. *sighs*

Anyhoo...I still don't think he was overly out of character, just my opinion though because I do know alot of people that I talk to hate how he acted.
