Honestly don't know what the heck you guys expect.

It is my understanding for anything involving GIF banners, has to be run through Humbug in order to be placed up on the boards, this allows him to look it over, judge whether or not it meets size requirements before it can be placed up onto the board. That is how things work.
GIF banners I reserve specifically for holidays. If this was a normal month, you guys would be getting a normal banner, but I thought, "Hey, why not give them something cool to celebrate the New Year?"
There are things that we are told and things that aren't a lot of times, the reason? Because that's how it goes. If we find an issue we discuss it with Humbug and work it out from there.
I have the power to do a lot, but not without permission from Humbug to do so, if Humbug says no, then it's no, if it's yes, then I go through with it. If I do not get a reply, I don't do anything without his say so, that is apart of my job, it's all about communication, sure I have the power to do so, but I can't touch anything that otherwise is out of my power without his permission.
It is my job, and I firmly feel that it is respectful to do so. I take my job very seriously, to ensure that things go how they must, if I didn't care about the banner I wouldn't have kept everyone updated in the Banner Contest thread and I would have ignored this thread entirely. I am trying to get this straightened out, trying to get Humbug attention to this.
This is a process, things happen, things conflict, once I speak with Humbug I will set up an arrangement so that this doesn't happen again, if possible get his permission so that I don't have to run these gif banners through by him, if he allows it. But for now I will have to wait to discuss this with him. It's not about, this person or that person isn't doing there job, everyone is doing there job, everyone is trying to fix the situation to prevent this from happening, this is not the first time that contacting Humbug has been difficult, there have been plenty of times before this that this has happened, you can ask any helper or any person who has PM'd him for a response it could take anywhere from a week to 2 weeks to get a reply. The guy has a life and a job, can't expect him to wait by the computer screen every single day to moniter every PM that he gets, not everyone can do that, nor should they have to.
tl;dr: It's nobodies fault, Humbug is a busy guy and has always been difficult to get in touch with.
