It is probably going to be expensive as **noel**, though I'm hoping that this release will cause the regular Durarara parts to go down in price

True that on it being expensive.

As for the DVD's, I doubt it will make them cheaper, but because of how it's already out on DVD, I don't expect this to sell out all that quickly (Even if it were like $200, though it'll probably be like $350 or something.), even if it gets the treatment Baccano! and R.O.D. did (Making them like the actual Japanese product, just a lower price, and released quite a while after the Japanese release they're based on.).

Mind you if they bring it over the same day as Japan, the price will be the kind Japan pays. Aniplex USA has done imports before, and these are the two most expensive ones they've brought over. Garden of Sinners sold out before its release date nearly a year ago.

There is always the chance they'll do what they did with Baccano! and R.O.D., they bring it over much later, but in different packaging, or it just has some things missing from the Japanese release it's based off of.

I doubt it. Aniplex USA has never released a box set for a show they've released in parts or singles. The chances of one are next to none. Only DVD box set you'll get is the one in Japan.

BTW at this point, we'll probably see Aniplex due the copycat import, a la Baccano!. So we won't get this awesome packaging, or booklet.
