Durarara!! Episode: 03 Rampant Evil.

Episode 03 Accordian music rolls into the background... The first scene starts with Simon passing out promotional matierial for the Russian Sushi restaurant he works at. He appears to be a little too forward for to gain the passerbys interest... City people quicken their pace whilst walking past Simon... He appears to be daunted in his efforts as he lets loose a large sigh what appears to be two young russian tourist girls approach him asking if he, Simon, speaks russian.. this turns Simon's mood around it seems as he make a jovial russian reply to the cute young ladies. His reply to them eases thier anxiety and the blonde holding a map of the city proceeds to ask Simon for directions. His answer to the girls is very simple and everyone is pleased. The girls are on a trip of some sort and Simon tells them that they should enjoy this city and tells them that it is very nice. As the girls depart they look back and share a friendly smile and a wave with Simon. Simon looks to the sky with a slight smile.. -narration begins- during the narration various shots/angles are shown of the city blocks and people... the people are mostly colored in all grey colorschemes to notate that they are unknowns or strangers. During a shot of a crowded city crosswalk we see a colorized character (Seiji) turn and look over his shoulder to spot the girl with the scar on her neck walking by storefront windows in district. The shot then snaps to a car-park sqare in this shopping district and begins to zoom out. -scene break / texts with warning or caution tape (no subtitles on this text) -
-scene opens with a shot of a classroom through the window with students looking on earnestly while a tapping of chalk on the blackboard can be heard-
-the main focus of the shot is mikado-
-Narrative Continues-
the teacher states that there needs to be a selection of class representatives.
Mikado hangs his head but then raises it optimistically and scratches his cheek
_-Narrative goes on about how people come to this city to create some sort of new reality for themselves.. Searching for somthing that they can't quite put their finger on-_
Anri who is seated at the front of the class then rasies her hand, while all of the other students notice her bravery. Mikado begins to raise his hand but freezes mid movement when he notices that Anri has volunteered herself. Anri also hangs her head with extreme modesty while her hand is raised. The teacher asks if there will be any others and says, "that's it for the girls." Anri rises and takes a position at the head of the class in front of the blackboard. Anri blushes and makes a quik look at the classroom then suddenly looks down in embarrassment as she asks if there may be a boy who would like to be a class representative with her.
Mikado thinks to himself for a moment and battles with anxiety over the situation. Mikado and Anri then catch eachother's eyes. _high notes on a vibraphone are played signifiying enchantment... possibly mutual_
-background fades to white glow. only the Mikado and Anri's faces are visible-
-Mikado has further anxiety and tosses the idea of nominating himself around some more-
he then volunteers and Anri becomes more bashful and just about crams her nose into a book she is holding open at the front of the class. Then Anri lets out a giggle that makes Mikado gasp quikly before regaining his wits.
_shot cuts to chalkboard _
_signifiying class is no longer in session_
-Mikado hurries towards the door to catch Anri before her departure-
he begins to ask Anri about going to a meeting the following day while stumbling with his speech.
Anri then spots another person in the hall that is also colorized (other students as assumed strangers are colored in greyscale at this point) this colorized person is an object of affection and anxiety... Anri then cuts the conversation with Mikado and runs off.
Masaomi then begins to pester Mikado about his apparent interest in Anri while he stands at the blackboard and proceeds to draw a heart around their names in pink chalk... while going on about how to really make "moves" on girls in high school. All the while calling Mikado out on his previous shortcomings.
Masaomi then proposes that they pick up some chicks together...
_scene snaps to outdoors_
Masaomi makes a pompas pass at two girls.... and his attempt fails.. they rise from their seat on the stone bench and depart immediantly.
Mikado thinks to himself how that the girls would have never had gone for a highschooler...
-Narration starts(same theme about how people come to this city searching for some sort of change)-_Mikado stares into the eyes of a gargoyle on a pillar that has the face of an owl as the shot zooms on the face of the gargoyle_(end narration)
Masaomi continues to try his luck with the ladies as a new found group of three girls scoff at him while they text on their phones and act disinterested. One of the girls begins to gossip about how a boyfriend of yumi is with a gang called "The Dollars" they become so fascinated with the gossip they forget about Masaomi.
-Narration Continues about the bad people who are gang members that represent themselves as a group by wearing certain colors. he elaborates upon the idea of "The Dollars" and how they have no color and states that they are 'transparent' and internet based, growing numbers through their website.. adding to the mystique and allure of the gang.
-scene cuts back to the 3 girls that Masaomi was hitting on-
the girls are now gossiping about of crimes the dollars are allegedly responsible for...
all the while Masaomi does not seem to give up on taking these girls out for a drink.
_Mikado looks away in a sort of disbelief of his classmate and his efforts to pick up girls_
-scene cuts to active vocal chat roll..-
a person on the chat roll is spreading propaganda that is in "The Dollars" favor... possibly to recruit for their herd. The person spreading the info speaks of how "The Dollars" lower ranking members, had stabbed many Yakuza members recently...
-scene cuts to back to the city-
_Mikado, Erika, Walker, Kyohei, and Masaomi all meet._
Erika, Walker, and Kyohei are pushing the idea of going to a book signing at a comicbook store..
-scene cuts back to vocal chat roll-
people are spreading more mistique about "The Dollars"
the users are Taro Tanaka and Setton
-scene cuts back to the group of well met friends in the city-
Mikado asks a question about the dollars and Kyohei get's some sort of suspicion aobout Mikado's interest...
Kyohei makes it known that it's best to keep distance between oneself and "The Dollars".
Walker makes light of the situation directly after and then begins to praise Kyohei.. immediately Erika begins to give Kyohei a tough time about his sage advice.
-narration continues about dangerous places in the city-
_scene cuts back to Simon at the front of the Russian Sushi restaurant describing how the food will not harm people._
_the Dark Rider blazes past Shizuo and his partner, possible hungry patrons of the russian sushi restaurant on a perpendicular street. drawing their attention away from Simon._
_seiji steps into the scene with a backpack slung over one of his shoulders. he is thinking about finding the girl with the scar and his magnetized love for her ._
_Scene cuts to Anri in the city setting looking about the area_
she believes that she has spotted a friend Mika??? Rushes towards the girl and grasps her hand..... it turns out to be the girl in the cap with the heart on it -->link http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq148/CC-Fanboy/Picture2.png
Anri grasps the girls hand and blushes then explains herself in embarrassment. then Anri runs away in a fit of shame due to her actions.
-narration starts back speaking of how danger in the city can show up anywhere-
_three girls appear to gang up on Anri while she tries to catch her breath. They call her a b _itch_
_scence cuts to Izaya looking upon Mikado and Masaomi_
-Scene is blown with text for a break.-
_scene begins with a board game being played in the city amongst strangers_
Mikado and Masaomi are sitting and sulking away the days events as the narrator goes on about how that he(Mikado) had come here hoping for change
as Mikado walks and sulks Masaomi begins to gripe about life's trials and tribulations. but then presses Mikado further on into his own supposed "challenge"
Mikado then makes a joke at Masaomi's fatal flaw in his pick up tactics.. Masaomi is indifferent at the situation and keeps his stride in the same direction with his ethics of hitting on members of the opposite sex.
_scene cuts back to Anri and the three girls that had ganged up on her.. they all have wings on and hearts on the back of their sweaters as you can see from this current angle._
no immideate harm is being posed but the Anri is apparently getting bullied as Mikado and Masaomi observe the happenings. the two boys comment about how that girls are more amusing than frightning.
_Brother of "The Dollars" appears_ possibly showing gang signs and speaking street slang liberally... he seems to be a threat to the girls._
Mikado has an internal battle of how to interrupt the impending happenings. this bad guy is obviously one of the bully girl's boyfriend.
_scene flashes to a thought or fantasy of Mikado's_
curtan draws to reveal a marionette theater representation of how Mikado believes the scuffle between himself and the member of "The Dollars" would go.
(he loses with one blow in this fantasy)
the next scenario of the fantasy he figures a distraction would work better than a confrontation and then succeeds in this fantasy of the possible situation
_snap back to reality / a shot of Mikodo peering from around a corner of a brick building to view the situation at hand_
-Mikado decides to put his plan into action-
Izaya approches Mikado, bypassing Masomi, and shoves Mikado into the situation at hand. Mikado appears awkwardly inbetween the three girls the "Brother of The Dollars" and Anri, with limp wrists and terrible bashful posture.
He get's called a dork by the one of the bully girls....
Suddenly, to everyone's surprise Izaya steps in with a cool and calm tone. He explains about how weak human beings are.
with a flinch Izaya has cut one of the bully girl's purs strap and it falls to the ground spilling it's contents... -everyone is shocked-
he proceeds to threaten and then destroy the bully girl's cellphone by stomping on it and laughing in a childish yet maniacal tone.
he becomes satisfied with the destruction for the day.. and then the bully girls call on the "Brother of The Dollars".
The "Brother of The Dollars" approaches Izaya while shouting street slangs and grabbing his crotch...
Izaya remains cool.
as the Brother attempt to attack Izaya, in just a slight dodge and flick, Izaya had taken the opportunity to shave his opponent bald.
all of the bully girls and the Brother of The Dollars freak out and run away at this point... the Brother is bringing up the rear and trips over his own feet before escaping while shouting street slang and threats at Izaya to fall flat on hit face.
Izaya giggle to Mikado and Masaomi and Anri that the aggressor didn't even know that it was coming.
he then makes it the situation look like it was to Mikado's bravery that was the center of attention. Possibly to help out his situation with Anri...
Izaya then reveals that he and Masaomi have a previous relationship prior to this incident.
then Mikado realizes exactly who Izaya is and that he absolutely not to cross him. Izaya is angered but then pleased by the opinion that Mikado holds of him.
_A formal introduction then occurs between the two_
Izaya laughs at Mikado's name and passes jokes upon it.
He makes a point to say that he was seeking a certain someone, looks at Mikado, and states that now he has seen that certain someone.
_OUT OF THE BLUE, IZAYA IS HIT BY A CONVIENCE STORE TRASH CAN_
--Masaomi made the comment as to what the object actually is/was-
shizuo was the trash can tosser. He challenges Izaya and the two pass stabs at eachothers egos back and forth. Mikado then realizes that Shizuo is the other person that he as absolutely not to anger ever....
Dollars gang members then surround the crowd after the one fellow who recently got his head shaved during a botched attack alterted his "brothers" about who the "Guy"(Izaya) was.
THE GANG MEMBERS THEN REALIZE WHO SHIZUO IS
they assumed he was just a bartender but when they realize who he is The Dollars gang members begin to shake an quiver in fear.
-the narrator explains why irrational though causes a member of the dollars to wield a stick at Shizuo-
the gang member begins to swing at Shizuo while caustic jazz music plays, breaking the stick over the back of Shizuo's head.
Shizuo cups the back of his skull in pain and rage.
Shizuo then goes on to explain the attacker's error in that the blow that he dealt was meant to kill... also explaining that the gang member intended to kill Shizuo.
He then knocks the gang member clean out of his clothes into a store's rolldown door.
-narrator explains his Shizuo's nature of violence personified-
Shizuo then rips through each and every member of the gang except for two members who run off and desert the first Dollars gang member introduced with the bully girls.
As Izaya begins to escape the situation Shizuo then grabs the object thought to be a convenience store trash can that appears to be a vending machine now with a closer look and hurls it at Izaya.... Out of nowhere Simon jumps in and grabs the vending machine in mid air. Simon has an excuse for being there that ties in with a good cusomer he has in the building this battle is occuring infront of. Simon then sets the vending machine down, as the students look onward, Simon challenges Shizuo while approching him. Shizuo's rage boils and he attacks Simon, only to have his punch caught. Mikado grabs Anri by the wrist and he attempts to flee the situation, leaving Masaomi behind.
Anri begins to quicken her pace and actually is dragging Mikado along now.. Mikado is very surprised by this.
_scene cuts to a clock in the city at sunset_
Anri and Mikado are still holding hands and Mikado catches his breath while seated at the fountain. Anri smiles upon him as he does this.
Mikado then jumps up and blurts out that he's not sorry about what he did...
_narration states that this city will give you power to realize the magic that exists around us._
-flute music plays as the scene changes to show Seiji locking eyes with his love, the girl with the scar on her neck. The girl who was wearing the hat with the heart on it that Anri mistook for her friend Mika earlier in the episode-
_piano plays as Mikado stares at his open hand_
he looks up to see the Dark Rider whizz by on a crowded street in the district. Mikado smiles at this incident
_scene cuts to random shots around the city as the girls and boys gossip play in the background... the shot cuts to the crosswalk signal once again but not to the people that cross the street.. as if to say that we are looking past those strangers now like we have somthing figured out._
_scene cuts back to the vocal chat roll which is gossiping about the recent happenings with the dollars gang_
one user on the chat is discrediting those assumed low level members as not being part of "The Dollars" Gang...
possibly because of the disgrase of a loss.? or were they just trying to catch some fame from a rampant gang?
it could go either way at this point....
the user Tanaka and the user Kanra boost the fear and power of the dollars gang on the internet in this scene...
_narrator begins again_
_scene cuts to Shiuzo smoking in an alley wondering outloud to the dark rider why Simon had even showed up their battle earlier _
_Shot of dark rider having a sigh of frustration, sharing in the mood of Shiuzo_
_scene cuts to Izaya walking across a bridge while reading text from his telephone/smartphone_
_scene closes with a shot of Simon bandaged up and bruised professing and advertising about the russian sushi restaurant _
