What are HELPeR's?
HELPeR's are hand picked to be leaders and guides for the community for their activeness, intelligence, and enthusiasm for the shows on [adult swim]. There job is to maintain the folder of the show they are working for, because of this they are given more privilages than most to maintain the folder and help out users when they need it.
What are HELPeR's jobs around the specific folder?
HELPeR's jobs include, creating and maintaining Wiki threads for the characters and episodes of the show, editing out spoilers, helping users who are confused and need questions answered, creating polls and announcements for the folder they work in, creating or putting up banners created by users of the folder, creating/overseeing contests run by themselves or by other users, and most importantly getting people interested in the show of folder.
Note: HELPeR's are not mods, remember this while posting, we have one job and one job only and that is to maintain the folder. Anything other than that is the mods duties.
Spoilers
What is a spoiler?
A spoiler is a post or a thread that gives away information about future events/plot points, that can ruin the series or episode for someone else. Note, that anything that hasn't aired on [adult swim] is a spoiler, and should be spoiler marked.
How do I spoiler mark something?
Spoiler marking something is fairly easy and simple. First you'll want to type out you post. Next you'll want to highlight it and click the small little hand that is right next to the ABC button. (
) Once clicked a grey bar will appear around the text, this means that whatever is covered by the grey bar will be spoiler marked.

For Users who are more advanced in HTML you can also place < li-spoiler > Spoiler Posted Here < /li-spoiler > (Without the spaces of course and you'll get the same desired effect.

What if LoverDemon isn't on when I see the spoiler?
Luckily in a situation like this you can contact other helpers on other folders to come in and handle the situation. However they must be Action HELPeR's, Comedy HELPeR's are restricted to Comedy folders.

What if I can't contact another HELPeR?
At that point you'll have to Report Abuse for a Mod to come in and edit the post in question. To report, find the post with the spoiler in it, click the

Why was my thread locked, deleted or moved to another folder?
1. It violated the TOS of the ASMB - Note: Continious violation of the TOS might result in your account getting banned.
2. Chatting/Spamming - Posts that have nothing to do with the topic of the thread. And leave the chatting for chatrooms.
3. Trolling - Threads that are made for the soul purpose of flaming or trolling people are often locked, continuiously doing this can result in your account getting banned.
4. Flaming - Debating can be fun, it can also turn bad, but remember to keep a cool head, be nice and don't insult someone for having a difference of opinion.
5. Do not discuss where to illegally view/download/torrent fansubs/manga scanlations. - That is the quickest way to get your thread deleted/locked and possibly banned. That media is not licensed for distribution by their owners and are illegal.

What about Episode discussion threads?
Episode discussion threads are made for the purpose of discussion on the next episode of the show. If you wish to make a discussion thread, post the thread a day before the episode airs, any threads posted before Midnight Eastern time will be locked. If more than one thread is posted, the earliest will be floated while the rest will be locked.
Wiki's
Is the wiki just the HELPeR's responsibility?
No. HELPeR's only maintain the Wiki and create. The users around the forums are the ones that contribute to the Wiki.
How can I contribute?
Contributing is simple, you write summaries for episodes and characters in the series. Submissions must be createby yourself, this means not copying and pasting from another site, it must be written out in your own words.
Note: All submissions will be reviewed and possibly edited by LoverDemon and CC-Kallen for spelling, grammar, and pic addition purposes only.

I'm new to the forums, and I'm not really sure how to get around the site.
