Durarara!!

this was the only anime that kept coming back every saturday night and the only show on adult swim to get me hyped this year

now that it's over.....i fail to see any reason to tune in

It can and does, Epilogues are hit and miss, this one is a hit. So yeah, don't write it off just yet.

Well that's what happens when you deal with an anime that only covers a certain amount of content from illustrated work, in a way this is a faux ending really (to the entire series, not the ending to this), luckily there is more to come (if they ever adapt the rest of the light novels.), sadly we must wait for it. Just remember that it might be the ending of this series, but there is more to come in the future, one way or another.

But it just depends on your taste, I particularly liked this ending, I like the next one better of course, but at least it tied up some loose ends and didn't deviate from the rest of the series in anyway. Of course there is the big issue of Celty's head, but that can be resolved if the series does get the anime adaption that is needs. Other than that, glad that it at least held up to the rest of the series, instead of straying off course like the many anime before it.

durarara (the anime) is based off the first 3 light novels and the novels are still going so ITS VERY possible that a second season MIGHT be made once the novels are finished

There are 26 altogether. 24 of the regular episodes. And 2 special episodes, 12.5 (which aired about 2-3 months back, and 25 which is set air this Sat/Sun.

Oh right. am sorry. my mistake. yea i remember that episode and i remember seeing that it said ep 12.5. hmm I don' t know why but even when i saw that i guess I forgot about that and just kept thinking they were going to give both of the bonus episodes at the very end. Anyway yea that was a good episode. I think it was my favorite one come to think of it and i have to say world at peace was pretty sweet too
