My favorite part about this post is that it was edited, but the spelling was left intact. It's kind of like the national park system. You have to leave things in their natural state as much as possible in order to fully appreciate their natural beauty. And this post is a work of true art.
Behold the many wonders of Triiiiiiiina:
- The complete disdain for the shift key (save for the censored bit with the uncertain authorship)
- Garbage spelled with four 'a's
- Unnecessary exclamation mark
- Missing apostrophe
- Four-dot Ellipsis, with no space on either side - probably the only usage that is considered wrong in every manual of style
- Failure to terminate a question (in this case a request) with a question mark
- In fact, not one sentence is initiated or terminated correctly
Some people would look at this and try to correct it, but they are missing out on the deeper wonder of it all. It is patently impossible to describe the ways that Triiiiiiiina's post is wrong in fewer words than the post itself. Whereas her original post contains 156 characters, this post in defense of its magnificence has 1553 characters - not counting the quotation. This means that Triiiiiiiina's bad grammar to message ratio is roughly 10 to 1.
It reminds me of a rock formation. Just imagine how long it must have taken to be capable of completely failing, on every level, at the application of grammar to the English language. I suspect that this kind of thing is like the punk rock of language. it's all very anti-establishment.
