Man, I been down with The Skinkster since the days of the Cable-Laying Guy.  "Get a Life" was the greatest TV show ever conceived by mortal minds.  "Cabin Boy" was better than "The Godfather."  And now he's back cleaning up the mean streets as some beardzo cop dude.

So anyone who's not down with Chris Elliott can go eat ... something.

I will gladly go eat something, and that something is a bullet.  That show is pretty much the biggest piece of **grok** I've ever watched, and now...well, I can't unwatch it.  Thank you, Adult Swim, for lowering my expectations for humanity.

I understand that Chris' brand of comedy isn't for everyone. It's an acquired taste, like marzipan or fluffer-nutter.

Hell, I could watch Chris dance to "Alley Cat" for an hour and I'd laugh the whole time.

I just wanted to say, and please don't take this as a One Up on you or anything on Chris Elliot fandom,

but I watched Chris Elliot on the OLD Late Night w/ David Letterman show on NBC in the 80's

when he was "The Guy Under The Seats"!

I'll also NEVER forget his last line in that sketchne Of These Days Dave, I'M Gonna Be Running The Show,

But, Until That Day Comes

Ah yes, those were the days. Chris was great on the old Dave show, but I think he really came into his own with "Get a Life."
