Hey.
I worked on Eagleheart. Someone just brought this to our attention. I'm a huge Kupperman fan and we're friendly and have a lot of mutual friends. I think the man is a genius. When we were working on that episode, I remembered the "Sex Blimp" in "Snake and Bacon" and double-checked it to make sure we didn't think it was too similar or stepped on anything he had done. I don't remember all the details, but I think an early version of the episode had Chris becoming a sex slave in a Requiem For a Dream-style scary sex party in the blimp, and I'm pretty sure I killed it because I thought anything sex party and blimp related was too close. But I hadn't seen the fine print in his later comic "Tales Designed To Thrizzle Volume 1" that had a line with a joke that I agree, is very close to the basic premise of that episode (about all things in the sky being legal). I assure you, it was not intentional. I e-mailed Michael and apologized for not having caught it. No one working on Eagleheart - myself or the show's two creators, Michael Koman and Andrew Weinberg, would knowingly steal an idea. It would be stupid and insane, and unnecessary. Kupperman was completely cool about it and responded with "great minds think alike".
Otherwise, glad you like it!!
