Naturally, this episode is a great lead-in to the grand finale of Eureka Seven. Only ten episodes left now? It's going to be a lot to cover, I think. But I'm sure it will be worth it.
Poor Eureka. I wish people wouldn't hate on her for being "emo"(I'm not sure if that's the right word to use here) for a few minutes at the beginning, I don't think any of you would be very comfortable meeting with people of a different race who you slaughtered mercilessly years earlier either. She's obviously still feeling a lot of guilt over that incident, and has yet to completely come to terms with her past actions. She is trying to redeem herself, but she's still working on that. Eureka has never felt emotions like she does now. She is probably feeling worse about this than ever before. So I'll give her her thirty seconds of crying.
Oh, you rascally kids...it's hard for me to get mad at Linck for **bleep** up though, he's only 3 years old(Maurice is 5, Maeter is 4). Now if they were as old as TB's pope, then I could direct my hate at them without a problem It made for an interesting twist to the operation though, luckily there were no setbacks in getting them in there and setting up a defenisve line outside however. But I do have a feeling the fact that the kids are now stuck with Renton and Eureka is going to make what's to come more interesting.
I notice Holland didn't bring his 909 with him. It won't be good if the military shows up and he's without an LFO. Hilda and Mattheiu are great and all, but if a military fleet shows up and the Nirvash is still inside, I don't think the two of them are going to be able to hold out forever. The Vodarac don't seem like they have the firepower to overcome the LFO's, but that could yet be proven wrong.
So, Dewey has a job for Anemone, huh? Interesting. It's a good thing they gave some further comments regarding the "Limit of Questions" as well, because I have a feeling some people out there are still a bit lost on that point. But now we're also fully aware that Dewey really wants to destroy the scub coral and live on this planet. It doesn't seem like he wants to blow up the world...just destroy the scub coral, and he seems unconcerned with how many lives it costs.
Sakuya is an interesting individual. I can't wait to see more of her. Dewey said that Norb 'destroyed' her when they tried to coexist, but what does that mean? Really makes me look forward to the upcoming episodes even more. The preview for next episodes makes it sound like we'll learn quite a bit more about Sakuya next episode, and Eureka gets her hair back! And since it's an Acperience episode, it should be all the more interesting.
