From everything I've been led to understand, these sorts of contracts typically include a minimum number of airings over the lifespan of the deal. Bandai would certainly want the series to get more exposure than just a single TV run and a few Fix airings, I'll guarantee you that.

So if frequency of airing determines the quality of the series, Inuyasha must be the best anime [as] has.

'In that direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, 'lives Anonymous: and in that direction,' waving the other paw, 'lives tripfag. Visit either you like: they're both weeaboos.'
'But I don't want to go among weeaboos,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all weeaboos here. I'm a weeaboo. You're a weeaboo.'
'How do you know I'm a weeaboo?' said Alice.
'You must be,' said the Cat, 'or you wouldn't have come here'.

It got two runs since AS airs the block twice.

Unfortunatly, we are experiencing some dark times for [AS] anime and E7 collecting dust on the WS shelf is one of them.

Im pretty sure you guys are overly exaggerating about the end of E7. When they don't air shows in a while, they bring 'em back (Bebop hasn't been on [as] for a while and they brought it back; Home Movies hasn't been on for a while and they unfortunately brought it back (I know its a comedy but its the same message) ). When [as] is given lemons and makes lemonade, it saves the leftovers for later unless some greedy bastid drinks it all first. Considering E7 hasn't been on [as] for a long time and its still airing on the fix, i doubt it will be gone. Ya know most shows aren't off the air because Lazzo slept on the wrong side of the bed. Either shows ratings suck and their waiting for the license to expire, the license expires and would rather spend money on future products then beat a dead horse or their just waiting for a shows run to end so they can fit the show in its cycle once more. I have a feeling that they will fit E7 in when a shows run ends so until then, have patience for God's Sake!

From what I've heard and read... I suggest you buy the DVDs.  Best Buy has a boxset out I believe...

Frankly... I never cared for E7... but since anime is disappearing on AS.... buying the DVDs aren't a bad idea.

The manga has an entirely different plot than the anime...and **moo**. Badly.

DVDs are nice but not all of them are out yet.
