Kind of. Cowboy Bebop was done by Sunrise, though a lot of the members of the team went on to form BONES. It'll be like an anime margarita with BONES brand tequila, IG triple sec, Sunrise-flavored lime juice, in a GAINAX-rimmed glass. Sounds smooth.

And, that's the sort of company Eureka should be airing in--not whatever's on at 7AM Sunday morning as it got in Japan...

Their eventually catch up with the new eps of Inuyasha so you don't need to worry about that... and i thought they should repeat the new EVA's on Saturday... that's what they we're doing but when christmas came around they never aired the repeat eps so that's why the EVA Saturday eps are behind

Yeah, I could do without the EVA repeats (frankly, over the past few months, I've come to realize I could just flat do without EVA...), and the recent Inuyasha (if they just went back to #1, that'd give us a good year of decent episodes) and while I'm still enjoying Bebop immensely, it too could take a break, though I'd miss it. But, overall, this looks like a fine Saturday for me to waste my time with.

Yeah, this is my number 1 from last year.
I have a feeling you'll like this one more than FMA. Eureka is much more about the long term payoff and not so much the immediate up and down cheap thrills and manipulation of Fullmetal. Its character writing and development is decidedly more mature and deliberate than Fullmetal's (which, when you look at Dai Sato's writing credits, isn't surprising in the least).

heh, well, it'll probably rank up there for me, but FMA is pretty firmly ensconced in third place.

Yeah, it's quite a while since I've felt this good about my TV-watching future. =) I know better than to project this schedule into the summer, but it looks like one heck of a nice spring ahead. w00t! *parties*

Hey this is a neat thread. I read all that you wrote about this show and the summaries and stuff.
What I'm about to say could be marked *spoiler*but I've never seen the show so I don't know
The term "Blue Monday", although I don't know if he made it up, was used by the author Kurt Vonnegut, who nicknamed his book "Breakfast of Champions" "Goodbye Blue Monday". The phrase was meant to symbolize the end of his depression when he wrote the book. So the term "Blue Monday" probably means "a period of depression" or something like that. The song the first ep. is named after came after Kurt's use of the word, which was in the 60's or 70's or early 80's I forgot.

hah, ok then
I did want to use that line, though, so thanks for giving me a place ![]()
Well, it certainly seems good, so I'm sure it'll rank up there for me. No way in hell it'll knock Fruits Basket out of 2nd (FMA could budge. FB won't).
