Eureka seveN is about a boy who must create his own identity

Welcome to the official non-spoiler ongoing discussion thread for the second television run of Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN. The show is currently scheduled to air on the weeknight block (Monday through Friday) at 1:30am and 5:00am eastern, beginning on Monday, December 3.
Super-important thread guidelines:
This thread is designed for people who are seeing Eureka seveN for the first time. Therefore, it is to remain strictly spoiler-free. People who have seen the show before are welcome to participate in the discussion, but with the understanding that there are to be absolutely no references to anything that has not yet aired in this run. Eureka seveN is a journey of discovery for both its characters and its audience, so first-timers should be free to observe and speculate without undue influence from people who know more than they do. That means no spoiling, no hinting, and no leading the conversation in hinty ways. If you feel inclined to say something hinty, take it to one of the spoiler threads or continue the conversation over private message. Cans of Holland brand whoop-ass will be on hand for anybody who gets too loose-lipped.
Please also observe all other board rules as well as proper decorum. Things like bashing, flaming, trolling, spamming, off-topic chatting, and posting of pictures or links of questionable taste do not belong in this thread.
Many beginner questions can be answered by perusing Metatronda's Eureka seveN Information and FAQ Thread. Since it introduces characters and concepts that have not yet appeared in the current run, it may be considered mildly spoilerish, but it is an excellent reference for info on the series.
Eureka seveN is also currently airing on the Adult Swim Video (formerly the Fix), but as that run is showing one episode per week, it will not be concurrent with the television run. Discussion of current episodes airing on the Fix takes place in the Eureka seveN Fix discussion *NO SPOILERS* thread. (So like, don't get them mixed up and start talking about the wrong episode in the wrong thread.)

I wondered if anyone else had one in mind, but I didn't see anything about it in any of the threads I checked. Hopefully I didn't step on any toes, but there's also the spoilertastic ongoing discussion thread if anyone thinks we need one of those. I figured I'd rather help out the newbies now that I can play spoiler police myself.
It will be kind of fun to try and maintain a limited perspective in this thread, though. It's cool to watch it over again and catch all the little things you might not have realized the first time through (since not all of us thoroughly analyzed the episodes like Cille did
) but it shouldn't be too hard to keep this place spoiler free, I hope
