Differences in closed captioning and audio...

I mentioned a difference I noticed in the closed captioning and what you hear in another thread but I've since found another example.  The first one I noticed in what I think is an older season. During the opening theme if Lois is playing the piano and the kids pictures in the background don't have much face detail when Stewie says what sounds like "Laugh and cry" the closed captioning says "Effin cry". In later seasons it doesn't show that way.

Another episode I found Peter saying something like "I guess we'll just sit around and watch Jimmy Kimmel try" but the closed captioning says "Jimmy Fallon".

I wonder if things like this are intentional or just the captioners way of trying to be creative.

If the best can't be had let the worst continue...

I was just watching an episode where Peter has gotten his AA group drunk.  At one point I think he's giving out cigar burns and Stewie gets back in line for another one. Peter figures it out and sends him off and says "Laugh and cry ...effin cry...what's the difference?"... It kind of cracked me up that I didn't notice it before....
