Interview with Seth MacFarlane apparently he's...

...ready to end Family Guy

Yes, even he thinks Family Guy has run it's course. Go figure. IMO, The Cleveland Show should go before Family Guy and American Dad has at least a few more seasons left in it.

Good of him to think how that would affect his staff though.

Also nice to hear that movie is in the works and that he wants to end the show on a high note... unlike The SImpsons.

And hopefully this puts some people's fears to rest about The Flinstones.

Can you imagine MacFarlane taking on Star Trek seriously? That'd be interesting.

HELPeR for the TOONAMI, Mobile Suit Gundam, Dragon Ball Z, Harvey Birdman and Perfect Hair Forever boards. Feel free to ask me anything on those topics.

sketch only puts the arrogant whiney punks in their place... sort of like batman, except on the {AS} boards - THECZAROFGNAR

Sketch, should we make sure it's imprinted on your grave stone "He felt very strongly that Bleach belonged on Toonami!" - .hack-SIGN_John

Nice interview, thanks for sharing. I liked seeing the three men who basically built the Fox Animation line-up all just hanging out. Though I'm curious as to finding out more about Jon Stewart being angry with MacFarlane.

I was a little shocked to find out that Seth has said that Family Guy has truly ran it's course in terms of longevity. Did he not expect how popular the show would get and only really thought about doing about 5 seasons? Or maybe the fact that it had been cancelled twice by the Network? I'll be sad to see it go, tbh. The Simpsons however, it's honestly gone to the dogs. The best seasons are 1-4 and that's at a stretch. That show died a long time ago.

However, I can't wait for what direction Seth takes the Flintstones in in 2013 :smileyhappy:

Should end the show with a long awkward pause followed by Stewie realizing his lust for world domination. (Killing his family etc., thereby bringing closure to the series.)

Good for him, am I the only one who thinks family guy isn't funny anymore?

You're not, but I'm not one of those. It has it's moments when it's not that funny, needless to mention the Brenda Q episode... but other than that, I still laugh at it.
