they recently switch to an HD format...which it why it looks cool and CGIish...

They do use CGI sometimes...if that's what you mean.

They switched to HD so it should look a lot better now. Like someone mentioned though, if you're looking at the beginning seasons, it's obviously going to look better.

It's very very very common for animation of a show to gradually get better over the seasons, because as they make money, they can produce better animation.

Just look at the SImpsons, King Of The Hill, South Park. They rake in the money and improve the animation.

Much better, there's more depth on the characters, with the shade and lighting effects. However, as polished as animation gets, especially these days, it can make it look tacky. I do like how thev've progressed in terms of fluid motion and colouring direction in Family Guy though
