I REALLY wanna know who's gonna play the Jabba the Hut role.

Seems like every character who's appeared in more than one regular Family Guy episode's already played somebody.

Sweet!  I'm also looking forward to Robot Chicken's next Star Wars special.  I loved their last one, especially for the bounty hunters story arc.

As for Jabba, I hear Joe will be playing him.  Meg will, of course, be the Sarlacc.

Family Guy has a history of some pretty awesome Star Wars Specials, but let's be honest....Robot Chicken is the equivalent of a Buddha when it comes to spoofing Star Wars.

They are the masters!

Don't get me wrong, I love how Family Guy goes about spoofing Star Wars, I just prefer Robot Chicken's obscure way a little better.

I can say this though, both specials are going to be AMAZING!

Didn't Joe already play a bit character at the start of the the "Empire Strikes Back" parody, going "wo-wo-wo-wo" while floating along?

And which character is the Sarlacc? Jabba's eflin "sidekick", or the pit-like creature that eats others and digests them over the next century?

Joe also played a bit character in the first Star Wars special.  He was the Rebel pilot who couldn't fly cause he's paralyzed, so he made sandwiches.

The Sarlacc is the name of the monster in the pit where Jabba throws people.

I agree.  I think it's cool that FG directly spoofs the movies, but I like the different ideas that RC comes up with in their own fashion for their specials.  Especially, and I can't state it enough, the bounty hunter arc in the second one.  That was just brilliant.  It also delved into the Star Wars universe and made it a bit more real.

IIRC this one will have characters from not just Family Guy, but American Dad and The Cleveland Show, right? I'm hoping Claus will be Admiral Ackbar.
