LMAO! That was hilarious!

I am so glad I didn't miss this episode like I did the last one. ALl those funny labryinthe parodies made me laugh so hard I nearly choked on my cheeseburger! :smileyvery-happy:

Oh man, being one of that gay guy's backup dancers what could be more of a fate-than-death scenerio other then that?

And that part where they satired the whole dance dream sequence that was just off the wall! Espically with Gemberling dressed up in that ballroom gown and make-up poor guy he was probably thinking "SOMEONE GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" lmao!

As much as I loved this episode I am eager to know what will become of Byte and if she will ever return from the dark side, what do you guys think?

Ironically, this episode had a lot of the same problems as Labyrinth. Lots of "Why don't they just" moments. "Why don't they just punch the Maze Master in the face?" "why don't they just punch the Muppets?" "Why don't they just ignore the poor guy and walk around the maze like they said?" "Why don't they stop with this crap and just get on with the fucking story?" This is crap!

You think Fat Guy has a story..? Gemberling is wandering nothingness with Chains for no rational reason whatsoever and nonsensical stuff keeps happening..

If you're looking for a show laden with logic, Fat Guy isn't the place to look.

If you want a show that's fun and colorful and jump-around-y, then Fat Guy is great.

Honestly, it looks like you criticized the show on your own terms. You expected them to do certain things and you were disappointed...which is fine! It just doesn't lead to a very objective critique...which, again, is fine. But let's call a spade a spade, shall we?

It's all good.

No. Just because we disagree doesn't mean I judged the show unfairly. On the shows own terms, it did not work. In the service of the story, the characters had to do several things that were out of character: fall for a trap, refrain from punching anyone, let people waste their time, tolerate a whole lot of BS. Plus, instead of satirizing Labyrinth, this episode merely imitated it's style with a little bit of its own comedy mixed in. (The Hamotaur is the one exception: a more realistic take on Sir Didymus.) It wasn't a good episode. And besides, episodes like these are filler. I want to see what happens when Gemberling attempts to rescue his friends from the Emperor Palpatine character.

Does a nerd love Howl's moving castle, you bet he does!

**MmmBop** chains is full of great quotes. I'd give anything for a season 2.

That line made me laugh, hehe.

This is def. one of the better ones IMO... I really dug the Labyrinth spoofery...

And the "cringe-worthy" moments were kept to a minimum, so it was quite good...

I even got a laugh or two from Chains, like when he was getting all into the Maze Master's (or whateve rhe was called) song... The music was surprisingly similar to the original soundtrack, haha... I wonder what that says about the people who recorded the original music, lol...

Check my wantlist! I am not looking to make trades from my collection, but I am happy to swap tapes of anything in my collection for (almost) anything in my wantlist. Get in touch!

I think the moral of the story is to never help anyone move furniture.

You're pretty much always a sucker if someone gets you to do that.

Eh. Gembo's a fickle fellow. Sometimes he helps, sometimes he doesn't; sometimes he smart, sometimes he ain't. He's more like a regular everyday jackhole, and less like a hero, and that humanity is what makes him such a fun character. They've fallen for traps before, and there was some punching where appropriate. Everything seemed on par to me...really a pretty good amount of time.

And the whole series is filler, with the exception of a fistful of moments of heavy-handed or accidental plot device. And I expect them to wrap some things up come the season finale, so you'll probably get your wish come next week.

It's all good.

I learned that valuable lesson from Larry David and that Dunkin' Donuts commercial, but it never really struck home until this episode.
