Fat Guy Stuck in Internet

I caught the series from Episode 4 onwards and i can't remember laughing so much in years.

I'm now stuck outside the US with no chance of catching any repeats.

Does anybody know if they will be releasing a DVD in the future?

If anything I would guess a shop-only release. like the 2 space ghost dvds and 12 oz. mouse, it will probably just show up there one day

There is probably going to be a DVD for it. It seems like every thing gets a DVD these days.

I am not expecting one soon since the season did end about what a month and a halfish ago.

I'd like to get this on dvd. but since it only has 10 episodes I'd hope for a cheap price between $10-12.

and if there's no "rights" issues complicating things they should deffinetly include the 8 original "Gemberling" shorts... and hopefully some kick-** fricka-fracka ** bonus features. (aqua teen always has the best dvd-bonus features of [as] shows)

There are rights issues, company names, steve perry, ect.

maybe they could blur some things out(logos, etc) and change some music, like most shows do when they come to DVD(Robot Chicken, Mission Hill, etc). they can still refferance company names and celebreties though, as long as it's seen as a parody it's not a copyright issue(just look at Family Guy, Robot Chicken, etc). despite it being redundant to have the original shorts, since they tell essentially the same story, I think it would just be a nice treat to hardcore fans to have somewhat of a complete, deffinitive collection if the show is indeed done and over.

throw in some episode commentaries, making of/behind the scenes featurettes, promos(commercials), deleted/alternate scenes(if there are any), in addition to the 10 full Fat Guy... episodes and the 8 original Gemberling shorts and you've got 1 hell of a deffinitive set. but they do need some awesome cover art like 12 oz. Mouse, Sealab 2021 Seaon 2, and ATHF(movie) dvd's had.

Here's another idea as well, MAYBE [adult swim] should take all the interactive video commentaries and put those on DVD, as the Fat Guy Dvd set? hmmmm, this seems like a good idea maybe i should pm it 2 merrill.

yeh, I think PM'ing our ideas to someone at [adult swim] would be a great deal of help in getting us a DVD release for this show taht we can be happy with. or, in the very least, let them know that there is still an audience for this show would actually buy a dvd of it.

if you really want to see season 1 on your TV and not illegally downloaded then buy all the episodes on XboxLive only $19.99! also if Saul of the Molemen hasnt gotten on DVD yet then Fat Guy aint showin up on those laser discs anythime soon. Also why can I already tell "Delocated" Funfetti? live action shows on [as] are doomed from the pilot.
