I have a mono tv in my room, and something I've noticed is that the lead guitar for "Ride on Shooting Star" is almost completely muted, sadly. Anybody else have this issue? Just curious.

Considering I'm an obsessive pillows fan, I can tell you the lead guitar is muted cause it's only in the left and/or right channel (don't remember which). The same goes with most pillows songs...

That's what I figured, though usually tv audio will come through more evenly, the issue with FLCL is one of the more obvious instances of this, next to when I'd play video games when they were set to the stereo audio setting.

Sigh.. wish I could plunk down for a new tv anyway..

Nobody else here watches on a mono tv then, eh?

My tv (in my room anyway) is really old, and it doesn't have the extra red audio plug lol... I don't know if it's mono though... I'm pretty sure it has two speakers...

If it doesn't have the red it's probably a mono tv.. be odd for a stereo tv to not have a stereo input

For me if I'm watching my FLCL dvds or whatnot I'm not watching on my mono tv either, usually. but if FLCL is on and I am watching on it I hate how the audio feed messes up the end.. ah well
