Now, I realize that the amazing show known as FLCL does not have it's own folder, but even so, why not give this show it's own Wiki thread?  I do realize that there is the potential of a custom rank for doing this, but hey... this could also be a project that I'd enjoy helping put together for all the fans of FLCL, old and new.

So, here it is; we discuss items, photos, bios, corrections to current entries... ANYthing that has to do with contributing to this wiki.  No chatting, spamming, flaming... just basically follow board rules and things'll go great!  ^_^

Now, for the first item:

When we make the article on Haruko, should she be mentioned as Haruko Haruhara, Raharu, or both names? I am also not too sure on the full version of her real name.

I just remember her as Haruko Haruhara. You could mention both though I guess? (I don't remember the Raharu one)

Amarao mentioned it on the fourth episode; I think it was Haruhara Haru, or Haruha Raharu; something like that.

Huh, just occurred to me, that either way it's the same as her other name, except that it doesn't have the "ko", right?  Kind of figures he, who wanted her and everyone else to grow up of course, wouldn't use it considering the Japanese character for it carries the meaning of "child".  He says the other version, the one without the ko, is her real name, but you gotta wonder if it's not just not his way of saying that he refuses to acknowledge the way she's behaving now as the real her.  Could also be that he's right about the name, and she just added it maybe to spite him and/or simply because she feels it represents her better by sort of declaring that no matter what she'll always be a child at heart.  Well, whatever the case, it just amazes me to think that after all this time there's still things about this show that I never realized before.

Well, mostly the fact that he has said her real name is Raharu in the last episode is what keeps this confusion going. Between that and calling her Haruhara Haru in the fourth episode, I just can't decide what's what.

I would say go with Raharu and provide a list of aliases/alternate ways she's addressed. The same could be done with nicknames for other characters.

Her full formal name is Haruko Haruhara. At the end of the manga, someone who looks similar to Haruko pops out of Naota's head and claims to be Haruha Raharu's superior, Superior Raharu and says Haruko is on the run from the GSPB. After she kisses Naota, it's made clear that "Superior Raharu" is really Haruko in disguise. <<<hope that clears it up

To clear things up further, she's called Haruha Raharu by Amarao, but it may just be an alias, or her name minus the last character.

Alright, so how are wiki's usually written? Is it one post per entry or section, or do you try to cram as much as you can into a single post?

well to be honest im not rly sure. i think some folders even have sept wikis like theyll have one for episodes and one for characters and stuff. and if they do that then its usually 1 entry per post.  but if you wanted to include it al together you could include a group of them in a single post or do a seperate post i dont think it matters much? just do whichever is easier for you and more organized.

also can i write up mr. bushybrows bio? i rly like him >___> (armarao? sommmeetthinng like that i will lewk up his name later!)

Doesn't seem like much progress has been made at all.. Any reason for that? Has this already been done or something?

If not, would it be all right to use character descriptions from Wikipedia and the like as foundations and pad 'em up with what we know as we see fit? Or does it need to be original?

I'd be happy to work on this some.

Yeah, doesn't seem to be as popular as I figured, and no, I don't think there's already another wiki or else someone would've pointed it out by now.

I suppose you could do that; just make sure it's not a close match to the original.
